Lightweight, Compact Combination Winch Hook and Shackle Pin with Folding Stowage

While most winches come with a hook, they're pretty basic and aren't the safest things in the world when it comes to recovery or other serious winch applications. The Factor 55 UltraHook Winch Hook is the last winch hook your off-road rig will ever need. Rated to 31,000lbs at its hook throat and a whopping 48,000lbs at its shackle pin mount, the UltraHook is incredibly strong and has a host of safety-oriented features that put just about every other winch hook on the market to shame. The UltraHook drops right onto both steel and synthetic winch cables without any splicing thanks to its double shear pin design that accepts the standard eye loops of most winch ropes and cables. The UltraHook comes standard with both a traditional hook as well as a fully-enclosed 3/4" shackle pin that allows for much safer winching than hooks. The UltraHook also folds up flush against your winch's fairlead opening, which helps keep your vehicle's front profile lower and prevents you from having to use a shackle mount to keep your hook under control. The UltraHook is rated for a maximum load of 16,000lbs, but it only weighs 32oz, making it a lightweight powerhouse that can handle all of your off-road rig's winching needs.

Extremely Strong Billet Aluminum Construction with 16,000lb Rated Capacity

Factor 55's UltraHook Winch Hook was designed from the ground up to handle extreme winching applications while being much safer than a basic hook. The UltraHook's main body is made out of CNC machined 7000 series billet aluminum that's both incredibly strong and lightweight. The 5/8"double shear pin is made out of 6AI-4V grade V titanium which keeps the winch cable eye firmly attached to the body of the hook during even the toughest winching challenges. Each UltraHook comes standard with a double-locking safety clasp with an included clevis pin, which is stored inside the hook body when not in use. The body of the hook comes standard with finger grip cutouts along its bottom side to promote proper hook-up winching, while EDPM rubber pads allow for a better grip when manipulating the hook and protect your fairlead when the hook is folded and stowed. The hook is rated for up to 16,000lb winch applications, though the throat hook has been destructively tested to handle up to 31,000lbs of load while the shackle pin mount hit 48,000lbs before failure.
