These lights instantly brighten up the area around your rear at night which will improve your field of vision if you have a backup camera installed as it provides a much more crisp and luxurious look. Diode Dynamics gives you several options of brightness levels to choose from as well.

High-Quality Construction

Diode Dynamics uses only the highest quality LED chips in the production of these Backup Lights. Most copycat competitors use economy-grade LED chips in order to reduce costs in their bulbs which greatly reduces the reliability and overall brightness of the bulb when you compare it to Diode Dynamics. Diode Dynamics offers you your choice of several options of lumen brightness to meet your needs as well.

Bulb Options:
Using the drop-down menu, select your bulb option that best suits your needs of brightness

HP48 (280 Lumens) - 27 three-chip 5050-size Epistar SMDs arranged in 180 degrees with 6 radial panels of 3 chips, and a forward-facing 6-chip panel.
HP11 (310 Lumens) - 4 side-firing 1.5W-rated Osram LED chips, and one 5W-rated LED chip on top, which is projected by a lens for maximum effective brightness.
XP80 (510 Lumens) - Each of the 4 sides of this bulb contains 3 5W-rated chips, and the top is fitted with 4 more under a projector lens. This is the brightest self-contained automotive LED bulb on the market.

Fitment: 2015, 2016, 2017 F150.

For Base Halogen Taillights Only: this pair of backup LEDs will not fit F150s with factory-optional LED taillights with BLIS.

For 2015, 2016, 2017 F150s Only: this pair of backup lights will only fit 2015, 2016, 2017 F150s. A version of these lights for 2018 F150s is here.

Do any of these (3 types) need the resisters like the other turn/break light led's?

Nope. The backup lights get constant power and aren't reliant on resistance. No additional resistors are required.

Will these fit in the alpha Rex black led tail lights?

Yep. The AlpaRex taillights reuse the stock reverse bulbs, and the Diode Backup bulbs will work just fine.

Will there be an issue with hyperflashing if i only use these as reverse lights in a 2016 f150? Or is that only an issue with turn signal function?

You will not get hyperflash with these backup lights. The reverse lighting is on a separate circuit from the turn signals, and only the turn signals can suffer from hyperflash.

For our latest stocking information and availability, please give us a call directly at 623-434-5277. These bulbs tend not to have fitment issues, but you should still give a solid test in your reverse bulb connector before buttoning everything up. UPS or FedEx can abuse these things on occasion.
