Mr. Brier
The E-Force came packaged with everything needed to install. We did need an extra bolt but that was not a big deal. Please note, I installed this on an 08 Bullitt. You will need a custom made throttle body elbow to fit on the Bullitt CAI. You will also definitely need a custom tune because of the increased air flow. Otherwise, you could install a stock GT air box and the included tune and elbow will work fine. The installation instructions were excellent and all went pretty much as planned. Quality of materials is very good and it looks great too! The added power makes this a different car and a real joy to drive. It is just enough for a good street performer. They should have included a supercharger on the Bullitt to begin with. This is the only SC I know of that you can still use the special numbered Bullitt strut tower brace. That is a great bonus! Overall I would highly recommend!!

e-force 2008 Mustang GT
Took two guys about 10 hours to install this kit on my 2008 GT. Engine runs smoother than stock but with a lot more power. Power delivery is very linear and predictable. Car drives like stock normally. Except now I can not go wide open throttle at any speed in first gear as my back tires will spin. Advise caution in second gear as well. Easy to avoid though. Guess I need better tires now. Baby footing the throttle, I can attain my stock MPG on the surface streets as well as the highway. The key word here is baby footing. Fun driving I am seeing 15 city down from 18 and 23 highway down from 26. There is no additional noise from this supercharger unless it is at wide open throttle. Then there is a subtle blower whine which can't be heard if the windows are down. I highly recommend this kit for anyone wanting to upgrade their 4.6L to above 5.0L performance levels while maintaining 4.6 fuel economy so long as you do your part.

First off I would like to say that Stage 3 definitely worked with me through the process and made this purchase easier. The Supercharger install is not as easy as the instructions would like to have you believe. Yes the kit is assembled very well, and the instructions are crucial, but as with all installs, there are always little things. I would highly highly highly suggest that whoever takes on this install themselves, that they have a good collection of tools available, because you will need more than just what the instructions say. BUY NEW GASKETS for your heads, reusing the stock gaskets isn't worth the hassle later if they are no good. As far as performance is concerned, this thing basically takes your 4.6L V8 and instantly makes it pretty much the same as the new 5.0L Coyote. You will definitely feel a difference in power, and the supercharger windup is intoxicating. Worth the purchase if you got some money to throw around.

Customer Question How much hp ill bring to my rears n what is the average 1/4 mille if i buy your product ?

Asked by: Jose - 10/30/2014
Customer Answer Edelbrock quotes 466 horsepower at the crankshaft using their tuning, which is roughly 395 to 400 horsepower at the wheels given a 12-15% drivetrain loss. I can't really quote you a quarter mile time, because that's going to be dependent on your car's tires, suspension, fuel quality, and engine condition as well as weather, climate, and driver skill.
