Dominate Your Recovery Game

Become the hero your off-road squad never knew they needed. Equipped with the OVS soft shackle with collar and recovery ring you'll be able to rescue virtually any of your friends' vessels and, most importantly, your own. When not in use, conveniently pack away both of these tools of adventure away in their included storage bags. Stress less about steel pins that are easy to lose or come unpinned in standard metal shackles. Avoid the maddening rattle of a metal shackle not even under load with the synthetic rope soft shackle. Leave your outdated snatch blocks in the garage to make space for your aircraft grade aluminum recovery ring. Most importantly, avoid all unnecessary dangers created with build up in kinetic energy when using traditional rigging. Stay safe, calm, and confident with your OVS Combo Pack.

Unconventional Technology

Dyneema, the material used to construct this soft shackle, is so strong that an equivalently strong wire rope would be three times thicker. For reference the OVS soft shackle is 5/8" thick. A stainless steel shackle of high quality would only ever have half as much breaking strength. Don't forget you'd need a 3/4" pin to use with a steel shackle; it'd be just another piece of gear that'd end up lost in your garage or shed. Without extra hardware to stress about, using the OVS Soft Shackle makes your life easier. The difference in material alone is more forgiving of operator error that might end up causing dents and scratches with a metallic shackle. A steel, 2.5" collar attached to this soft shackle ensures security. The "T6" portion of your T6 6061 aluminum crafted OVS Recovery Ring represents the manner in which it was aged. T6 6061 aluminum is specifically aged artificially to attain maximum strength. Because of its relative light weight and molecular structural soundness it is one of the most popular alloys deployed in the construction of aircraft. If Boeing will trust this material to keep their customers in the air, you should have no issue trusting this OVS Recovery Ring with helping pull out your beached off-road rig. The uniquely designed shape and construction material prevents build up of kinetic energy, unlike traditional snatch blocks. This prevention will keep you, your friends, and your vehicles safe from catastrophic injury.
