Customer Question hello, i was looking at getting the bracket for oem replacement so i can run the ridgid, what light would be better the diffused,or driving, fog which only be used during our bad weather here on the freeway or what would you recommend?

Customer Answer Unfortunately, these Rigid lights are not DOT-approved, and are not street-legal lights. The only Rigid Industries D-Series lights that are street legal, are their SAE/DOT Duallys.

Customer Question I'm looking to use these as lower front bumper as accent lighting with amber lens covers to complement oe parking amber lights '12 f150. Do these as a pair come with some sort of mounting bracket? also looking at the white as reverse lights from site pictures. Are these diffused with colored lens cover be to bright as front accent/ visibility lighting? thanks

Customer Answer The lights come standard with universal feet mounts, though even with covers, they won't be legal to run on public roads. As far as use as reverse lights with a lens, it depends on how much light you think you need, what you're using the lights for, and how dark your tint is. If they're solely being used as a general-purpose auxiliary light, then they should be fine even with additional lens covers, but if you need distance beyond a couple of yards, then you'd likely be better with a different optic or using one of Rigid's lights that have amber LEDs.
