While the newer 6.7L Powerstroke V8 diesel engine is an awesome workhorse and very tough, it still has it's flaws. One of the biggest issues is it's head studs. The stock 6.7Ls are equipped with head studs that are weak at best, allowing head-lift in even basic performance applications. If you're building your Super Duty out to be much more of an extreme off-road truck or have plans for towing, you're going to want to swap out those head studs before they cause any problems down the road. That's why ARP created this set of High-Performance Head Studs. These amazingly strong components can easily handle the craziest and most extreme custom 6.7L builds and get your truck's heads locked down under even the most intense levels of boost pressure. These head studs are direct replacements for stock and are the best way to hold your 6.7L motor together.

Heavy Duty Construction for Extreme Applications

Each one of these ARP Super Duty Head Studs are made from ARP's proprietary 2000 material, with insanely strong threads that are rolled after being heat-treating for optimum fatigue strength. They are also centerless-ground to assure perfect concentricity. Also included in each kit are heat-treated, chrome-moly steel 12-point nuts and parallel-ground washers, with a black oxide finish for extra durability. The enormous strength of these highly-specialized and highly advanced head studs allows them keep your 6.7L's heads from lifting even after stacking on enormous turbocharger upgrades, aggressive tuning, and/or other extreme modifications.
