F150 BAK G2 Hard Folding Bed Cover Features:

Heavy-Duty Aluminum Construction for Optimal Security
Extremely Easy, No Modification Install
Black Powdercoat Finish

Great-Looking, Strong, and Practical Tonneau

BakFlip's G2 Tonneau Cover is one of the toughest, strongest, most durable, and easy-to-operate systems for the F150 on the market to date. This complete tonneau cover kit really can do it all and features BakFlip's unique folding design that makes it easy to move out of your way when you need to get into your F150's 6.5ft standard bed. What's even more impressive is the tonneau's incredibly strong and durable construction that allows you to use in practically any application or climate, as well as allowing you to load gear on top of the tonneau cover, if need be.

Strong Aluminum Construction

The Bakflip G2 Tonneau Cover Kit is extremely easy to get up and running on your truck and installs with a simple set of clamps. The tonneau cover itself is made out of aircraft-grade aluminum that can handle even the worst punishment dished out by mother nature as well as any off-road action you happen to encounter. The aluminum fold-up design also makes it much more difficult for someone to break into your truck's bed -- assuming you lock the tailgate. The cover measures 1/2" thick and features a black powder coat finish. The BakFlip G2 Tonneau Cover installs with absolutely no drilling or any permanent modifications and will work with any aftermarket bed liner or bed extender.

Vehicle Fitment: 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020 Ford F150 & Raptor - Reg. Cab/Super Crew/Super Cab - 6.5ft Bed

2015 Ford F150

I enjoy the BakFlip G2, it's a really nice cover and it installed fairly easy onto my truck and it looks amazing. I am having some struggle with trying to make it not have any water though due to the fact of it not being 100% waterproof, but I'm working on it. It's a good high quality product and installs in about an hour I believe.

2015 F-150

I've read multiple reviews on this item thinking it was going to be the best item for the price. Gate latch doesn't completely lock and gets blown off exposing my truck bed during windy days. Because it doesn't fully latch, it does not prevent water from entering the bed as described. Also slides while driving which again causes unlatching and no real security. Very disappointed in this product for what I paid. Everything else I have bought from Stage 3 has been amazing, so this is definitely a manufacturer flaw.

Will this work with a Magnum headache rack?

Asked by: Luke - 9/6/2021

The tonneau cover should install just fine with one of Magnum's rack. You may have an issue with function and fully folding against the rack, since the Magnum racks are pretty thick. Your better be would probably be a roll-up or a retractable tonneau cover.

Why did Stage 3 choose this cover for their 2015 Eco Project truck?

Asked by: SCOTAMUS PRIME - 3/30/2016

We liked the low-profile design of the cover, and it's tough enough that even we probably couldn't break it, even if we did something incredibly dumb and boderline dangerous.

Yep. This tonneau will fit all 2015-2016 F150 6.5ft beds, regardless of cab configuration.

in your description you state the front can also flip up separately. i have never seen this in any video or revieews. is this true? thanks

Asked by: matt - 9/3/2015

That's actually not correct, and I've edited the listing. The only tonneau cover that I know of that has the ability to fold backwards from the cab is the TruXedo Deuce 2.
