If you're like us, then you are not satisfied with how the 2019-2023 Ford Ranger 2.3L EcoBoost trucks produce a kitten purr of a factory exhaust sound. The AWE 0FG Cat-Back Exhaust System changes out your Ranger's factory muffler and tailpipes with improved and more aggressive exhaust components. This upgrade adds a meaner exhaust note and tone to make your midsize truck more intimidating. Each one of these cat-back exhaust systems features larger diameter tubing that's paired with one of AWE's specially-tuned, patented 180 Technology drone-canceling mufflers that helps your Ranger generate a louder and more aggressive exhaust note without generating a bunch of annoying drone and rasp. The system has a twin-tip configuration that exits in the factory location behind the passenger's side rear tire that provides a great look without changing fitment.

3" Diameter Tubing with 304 Stainless Steel Construction

AWE's Ranger 0FG Cat-Back System uses only the highest quality of components to maintain your truck's great sound for an extended period of time. The kit features a resonator with a small drain hole for condensation to escape. 3" diameter tubing also makes up the system but it also uses a step-down connector for hooking into the factory resonator pipe. 304 stainless steel adds a tough material against off-road obstacles and it additionally resists corrosion in almost any climate or application. The kit comes standard with a single AWE muffler that uses their proprietary 180 Degree internal design to generate a great sound without the drone. A stylish set of 4.5" diameter tips feature a diamond black finish and slash-cut design. A crawler conversion, which deletes the usual exit with a sort-of-dump tip for more departure angle, tops off this impressive kit. AWE includes all necessary installation hardware, including 3" and 2.5" exhaust clamps, and instructions.

2020 Firs Ranger XLT 4x4

Recently installed my new exhaust. I honestly was excited about this system due to a very realistic review on this site. I liked the fact that it was stated that there is no way a 2.3 is not going to sound like a v8 - which it does not While it’s only been on a couple of days... and there is some break in time needed. I’m impressed! No cab drone. Does sound nice and pretty deep. The only thing I can say is... upon start up (cold start).... it does sound a little importy, but once the engine warms up and the idle settles down... it sounds good

2019 Ranger

This is the only cat-back I have heard in-person on the 2.3L Ranger but I did listen to a lot on YT. Removing the stock muffler was very easy and only took about 10 minutes but making the first connection and aligning the tips made this a 2 hour project. The Ranger really wakes up with an exhaust and actually makes driving it fun. I like the sound of this exhaust and no issues holding a conversation with a passenger in the front at any speed. I have not experimented with any conversations with rear seat passengers but my assumption is there should be very little issues. AWE claims this is drone free, I would like to hear their definition of "drone" because there is a low hum that is fairly loud when freeway cruising - I would like it to be quieter.

2021 Ranger Lariat Tremor

Quality of the items is very good. The black tips are very nice. Everything is bent perfectly and mounts with ease. The sound from this exhaust is superb. Nice sporty tone and deeper sounding than expected.

Ford Ranger 2020 Lariet

Made a huge difference and sounds good for a 2.3!! not as Amazing as a V8 of course.. But sounds good and perfect for me. The fitting was all good for me no issue at all!

The entire cat-back altogether weighs something like 40lbs. Shipping weight is 41.8lbs.

This kit fits both SuperCrew 5ft bed and SuperCab 6ft Bed Rangers without issues.

Is this CARB compliant?

This system is a cat-back system only, and does not fall under CARB purview. This kit is street legal in all areas that don't have some sort of ultra-strict noise ordinance.

It will not. The diesel Rangers have an entirely different exhaust system than the 2.3L EcoBoost gasoline Rangers.

Is there any performance gains for this CAT back, meaning increased HP or TQ?

Technically, you may see small gains on a dyno in perfect testing conditions, but out in the real world, you're not going to notice much difference. Cat-back kits really should be seen as more of an aesthetic and sound modifications instead of a power upgrade on the Rangers.

What would happen if I fitted this to a (UK) 2017 Ranger Wildtrack 3.2, 5 cylinder duratorque?? Would it simply not sound good? Or even not fit? Final question - do you ship to uk?

This kit will not fit a EUDM Ranger with 5-cylinder diesel due to entirely different exhaust system design and routing. This kit will only fit USDM 2.3L EcoBoost trucks.
