Extra Cooling for Trucks That Never Take It Easy

When your truck is constantly towing, hauling, or tackling demanding terrain, the transmission generates a tremendous amount of heat. The PPE Heavy Duty Cast Aluminum Deep Transmission Pan is designed to give your 6R80 or 6R100 transmission the extra cooling capacity it needs to perform at its best. Designed for 2009-2022 Ford F-150 and Super Duty models, this upgraded pan increases fluid capacity by an impressive 4.25 quarts, giving the transmission more fluid to absorb and manage heat during long pulls, heavy workloads, and everyday driving. Deep external cooling fins further improve heat dissipation, while internal baffles help keep the fluid stable and properly distributed when driving over rough terrain or climbing steep grades. Together, these features help maintain more consistent transmission temperatures and support long-term reliability under demanding conditions.

Built to Last and Designed for Easy Service

PPE casts this deep transmission pan from premium A356.0-T6 aluminum, creating a housing that is significantly stronger than the factory stamped steel pan while also improving heat transfer. The reinforced design incorporates heavy cooling fins, cast-in gussets, and internal cross-bracing to add rigidity and improve resistance to impacts from road debris or off-road obstacles. A magnetic stainless steel drain plug captures fine metal particles during normal transmission wear, making routine maintenance cleaner while helping protect internal components. The pan also includes integrated filter supports to ensure proper filter alignment and a pre-threaded 1/8-inch NPT port for adding a transmission temperature sensor if you want to monitor operating temperatures. Installation is straightforward since it is compatible with the factory gasket and filter, making it an excellent upgrade during a transmission service. Finished in raw cast aluminum, this pan delivers a rugged appearance along with the added cooling, durability, and serviceability that hardworking Ford trucks deserve.
