This Roush intake is pretty sweet. I had a drop-in AEM filter before and it was good, basically same mpg, turbo sound, and throttle response as a factory filter. But with this Roush intake, after driving roughly 10k miles, this Roush intake still sounds good, has a little more turbo sound, which sounds nice for sure. I have noticed over the last 10k miles, I’ve had better throttle response, better consistent MPGs, around 18.5 mpg, compared to 17mpg before, so not a huge gain, but it’s a difference. Intake air temps, compared to stock, have decreased roughly 10 degrees, in Florida. I haven’t tried it in the Florida winter yet. Installation took about 20 minutes, It’s super easy. Overall, I would recommend This product.

Customer Question Hi, I was looking into buying this Roush Cold Air Intake. Is there a suggested mileage interval to clean/replace the filter?

Asked by: FX4 Tremor - 1/15/2021
Customer Answer It can vary by a pretty huge amount depending on your climate, how much dust/particulates are in the air, and how often you off-road in dusty areas. In general, you're probably looking at 20,000 to 40,000 miles before you have to clean the filter. Generally, you'll want to clean it once it looses its color and the mesh gets hard to see.
