2019 Ford Ranger FX4 XLT
Huge improvement both on and offroad. Firms up the ride on pavement the perfect amount, and offroad it makes a huge difference - with the benefit of leveling the truck. I added some slightly taller tires (265/70R17 Nitto Ridge Grappler) and I couldn't be happier with the results.

This kit is perfect. I was able to level the front, providing the additional 2" of lift which allowed me to increase tire size from factory 265/60R18 (30.6") to 265/70R18 (32.6"), replaced the factory Hancook's to BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2. Fit perfect, not other adjustments.

Customer Answer At this point we do not have enough information on the 2024 to answer this one.

Customer Question Do these come with a 2" or 3" factory height? My truck seems a bit taller after installing, had previously spacer 2" leveling kit. Are they all standard or would some vary in height? Thanks

Asked by: Diego - 1/5/2022
Customer Answer According to Roush, the coilovers should come preset at around 2" or ride height. In general, you can sit a bit high after install until the springs break in or the suspension settles back down.

Customer Question Can you run 285/70R17 tires using stock 17x8 rims with a 1/4" spacer and this suspension kit and not have to trim? Do you need to go higher than the 2" present height?

Asked by: Jerry - 12/30/2021
Customer Answer UCA/kunckle clearance somewhat depends on what tire. The issue with tire sizing is that "285" is only the section width, and the overall tire width is often wider, especially on chunkier M/Ts with big shoulder lugs. We can't strictly guarantee you won't have to trim, because we have not tried the combination ourselves.

Customer Question What size wheel and tires are in the videos. And what do you recommend for the biggest tires with no rubbing?

Asked by: Vinny - 4/14/2021
Customer Answer Our 2019 Ranger Project Truck used LT285/70R17 BFG KO2 tires and 17x9.5" Black Rhino Armory Wheels. However, that combination of wheel and tire required cutting our Ranger's crash bars. Maximum tire size depends heavily on what wheel you're using and whether you're willing to trim and/or cut your truck's crash bars. If you want to avoid issues with most wheel options, the biggest tire we tend to recommend is a 275/70R17 or similar.

Customer Question Is there any difference between this product and the Fox 2.0 set? (Is the only difference the "Roush" branding?)

Asked by: Jonathan - 1/26/2021
Customer Answer According to Roush, they change the valving slightly in order to work better with their own Roush wheel and tire packages. There's likely not a huge difference between the two out the real world, but the Roush Kit does come standard with the Fox Roost Shields, which is nice.

Customer Question Can you adjust these to half sizes such as 2.5”? Does this kit come with the tools need to adjust sizes? How does performance change once you adjust from the preset 2”?

Asked by: Steve - 1/20/2021
Customer Answer The front coilovers can be adjusted anywhere from 0" to 3" in height, and anywhere between. Adjustment does not require a specialized spanner wrench, however, you do have to compress the spring, loosen the retaining nut on the bottom adjust collar with an allen wrench, and then turn the collar by hand. If you increase hide height, your ride quality will get stiffer, since you're putting more preload on the spring. Overall damping performance really isn't effected as long as you don't go beyond 3" of leveling and start binding the spring.

Customer Question will this work for a 2019 Ford Ranger with a 3.5 suspension lift kit?

Asked by: Luke - 1/18/2021
Customer Answer That depends entirely on what specific lift kit you're using, and we would need to know the rear lift and the mechanism of the front lift. Your best bet would be to call us at 623-434-5277 or email us at [email protected].

Customer Question Can this kit lower it to ?

Asked by: Jp monkey - 1/11/2021
Customer Answer It can not. The front coilovers and rear shocks are only rated down to a 0" ride height.

Customer Question Is this exclusive to 4wd or can it be installed on a RWD?

Asked by: Daniel Montoya - 11/8/2020
Customer Answer This kit fits both RWD and 4WD Rangers. Just keep in mind that you'll get a smidge more ride height out of the coilovers on an RWD Ranger than what they're rated for on a 4WD Ranger.

Customer Question Do i need to buy a new upper control arms to run these?

Asked by: luis flores - 10/30/2020
Customer Answer Aftermarket upper control arms are not required for this kit. You may want to consider UCAs if you're going to push your truck hard off-road, but other than that, they are not needed at only 2" of lift.
