Can and all hoses/connections are of very good quality. Did not come with any written instructions though installation was very easy, 15-20 minutes. What I didn't like is that the can mounts to a hole located in the fan shroud, which is plastic (according to short install video from stage3motersports). Also for the cost of the kit, you would think UPR would be able to throw in a bolt, couple washers and a nut. Other than that, this seems like a great product and would definitely recommend it. Factory connections removed had a lot of oil in them. Glad I'll now be keeping all that out of the system.

Amazing catch can. I have only put 400 miles on since installation (running a stock tune), I have not gotten a CEL. The nut and bolt for mounting the can were included. The mounting location was difficult to get my hand in, but other than that it was a very easy install.

I installed the latest catch can system by UPR on my truck at 900 miles after I upgraded my exhaust system and cold air intake. Before the install I was tripping the P04DB code and had to reset it a few times with the help of my friend who is a mechanic. After the install the code is no longer tripping. I have put 2000 miles on it since then and so far have not had to empty the catch cans yet. Great product and took about an hour to install due to the upgraded cold air intake, I had to shave down the corner of the intake box where the clean side catch can (cscc) was mounted. I will respond again when I hit 5000 miles. So far so good!

High Quality product. Cans are precision machined. Hoses and connectors exceed OEM spec. Mounts and suggested mounting location for DVCC (big can) is not well thought out and designed. There is, however a better location for mounting the big can on my truck. Minor fitting and $10 worth of Homedepot hardware required. No check engine codes were set by this system. Engine runs well.

Got it in easy enough. Watch your connections as they have check valves in the lines! Blow down through them if you are not sure how they go, especially for the vacuum. I did get a Check Engine Light six days later. Cleared it with an OBD2 scanner at an auto parts store and have not had it come back (now a month later). Looking forward to the next oil change interval to see what has been collected. I would recommend this to anyone with a direct injection engine, as the intake valves do not get any gas flowing by them to clean them off and the catch can will make sure they do not get carbon build up from crank case combustion by product.

The catch cans and hoses are top notch quality! They also seem to perform really well. After only driving for about 300 miles they collected around 20 mL of junk. Glad it didn't make it back to my turbos/engine. The only down fall is the instructions. It's just a single sided paper with only a single picture. No words or anything. Pretty simple to figure out most of it but I looked forever for a port to plug the pop the last hose onto. Turns out you have to use the included drill bit and drill a hole into the pipe leading into your passenger side turbo. Easy to do once I called UPR and the tech explained it to me. Great tech support just lacking on the included instructions.

Well...this product is awesome. There are two things that detract from its awesomeness and those are the lack of good mounting hardware (i.e. Bracket needs a slight bend, there needs to be more Allen screws and bolts) and there are NO instructions. I ended up making a totally custom set up with the mounting points and it looks awesome.

Took me a total of 2 hrs to install (30 mins to fish out the lock nut that fell in the fan shroud). The CSCC was missing the smaller hex wrench for adjustment. The bracket needs to be redesigned: 1. the DVCC should have a third hold pre-drilled to accommodate the positioning of the isolator spacer hole specific to accommodate the 3.5 EB, 2. factory pre-bend the bracket to level the DVCC, 3. the existing hole positioning should have a 1/4 hole to address the larger diameter screw. I did get a CEL (with factory tune) after the first 20 minutes of driving. I reset it and so far no further issues but I will watch for it any further issues.

mount for can at the fan shroud does not fit good.i moved it back, gave it a slight bend and drilled new holes and it fit perfect. kept throwing an engine code. crankcase vent disconnected. installed better o rings in the push on connectors so they fit tighter and it remedied that problem. take care of your mounting problems and you have a good product.

Great quality product. I'm still a little confused on how it works but I drained it for the first time the other day and it was some nasty stuff coming out. I plan on keeping this truck forever so only plan on doing upgrades that'll help keep it going. Installation wasn't too bad. The instructions were good and came with all the mounting hardware. It was very hard to get the little nut in the radiator shroud though. I did take the turbo intake tube off before drilling into it. It didn't take that much longer but was good insurance in my opinion.

The product itself is great, quality parts and works great. The hoses are all nicely assembled and factory fittings make for simple hook up. My issue wasn't with the final product it was with the speed of shipping and then they sent the wrong item. I waited a full 2 weeks for the product (I have tracking number to prove it) then it was for a 2.7 not the 3.5. Not sure there is a different but it had a different part number and the hoses were short in length. Another week went by before they sent another one. Once it was finally installed it has been working perfectly and NEVER a check engine light. I enclosed photos of the installation and the amount of pure engine oil after only 1.000 miles. Hard to believe this much pure oil comes out of a truck with 15,000 miles. I can't imagine how much this system will catch and prevent from going in the engine over its life time. I would have given 5 stars but it took almost a month from order, to reorder and install.

Install was easy if you can find a place to mount the can. That part was a pain in the butt. You also have to drill the WOT pipe which is not fun at all. I would recommend to take it off or stick a vacuum down the pipe while drilling with a step down bit. The can is collecting an oil sludge mess so it is working. After about five hundred miles, it collected a few tablespoons. The directions it came with are from the old setup so that was a pain too. The manufactures customer service was great though. Anyways, I spoke to the dealership about the can before install. Their techs highly advised it but Ford corporate does not because it is an aftermarket product. I was told to remove it for any warranty issue with the engine.

The only reason I'm not giving this product 5 starts is because the instructions are for a two catch can system, and not for the single catch can with the electronic clean side separator. It's pretty obvious how the clean side goes but still would be great to have clear instructions. It also doesn't tell you which pcv to replace if you get the pcv delete, it's the passenger side one. That being said I noticed a difference in the way my truck runs I felt it sluggish at times but now it feels like it did when I first got it! I can only assume it's because I'm not having that junk go into my engine. I would definitely recommend!

Very well made product. Easy 5-stars. But the instructions are poor, 2-star at best. Thankfully not a very complex product to install, so all and all, 4-star rating. Also quite expensive for what one gets. Again, great product, but $500? There is plenty of profit in there for UPR to make a really good install instruction. I suggest they make a perfect video and have the customer use that to install; no hard copy needed at all. How about it UPR?

Customer Question What is the PCV delete option? Is the satin finish the gunmetal silver can pictured? What kind of check valves are included in the base price kit, and are there only two check valves?

Asked by: Mason - 5/13/2018
Customer Answer The PCV Delete Options blanks off the intake manifold's PCV port to help further reduce the chance of valve carbon buildup. The version shown in our images is the "Black" finish option. The can comes standard with basic check valves that still function fine, of which there are two in total.

Customer Question Customer Question I have seen this same vid on several sites, with some saying drilling required but at no time has it been shown where to drill. If it is a case of drilling to affix can no problem but if further drilling required, where ? Asked by: Sean - 2/18/2017 Customer Answer The revised versions of these kits requires drilling into the downtube of the intake to pull WOT vacuum. Unfortunately, our video was made before UPR overhauled their kit to fight the infamous P04DB code from the PCV pressure sensor. We did leave the video up, however, since you can still technically install the can as shown and just simply have the sensor turned off via custom tuning to avoid the code. Are you saying that technically I don't have to drill if you turn off the sensor, and the system will still work 100% as intended?

Asked by: EcoBoosted - 2/27/2017
Customer Answer It won't work 100% as intended, since the drilled hole and tap help the system pull vacuum at WOT, which improves its efficiency. You'd also have to cap off the fitting for the WOT vacuum on the can. In all honesty, it's better to follow UPR's instructions for this system, or to get the VPS sensor turned off via a custom tune and then get a more basic catch can kit.

Customer Answer It really depends on how much you're catching, which can vary pretty wildly from truck to truck and from climate to climate.
