Holy crap I like this thing. First off: 10 ounces?! It's huge. I forgot to empty it for like 3000 miles. Oops. But with the extra hose from the 'Catch Can Drain Line' option there's even more capacity. Highly recommend that option, but if you're handy you can piece it together yourself. This lets you just open a valve (when the engine is off) and dump the caught liquid without having to remove the can and disassemble it. The instructions SUCK. This is my only gripe. They're terrible. The included ones are a photo-copy of a scan of a finger painting someone described over the phone. If you go to UPR's website you can get color photos that are MUCH higher quality, but still lack detail. I found a YouTube video of a guy installing his because I had no idea which plug was the intake and which was the PCV port out of the crank. The hoses have a green end and a black and, bit instead the instructions say "use the end with the 90° fitting for here blah blah blah." The black ends go on the can, and the green ends go on the truck. I've included a picture of my own here. The drain line is just some pipe thread with a barb and hose leading to a ¼ turn ball valve (see pics). You could source this for less money. The instructions were pretty unclear about this, too. They give you three pieces that are threaded on one end and barbed on the other, so I used the 90° one on the bottom of the can and ran the line down to the valve right behind the skid plate. Zip tied in place. It seems the valve is SUPPOSED to thread into the bottom of the can, but if you put the valve at the bottom of the drain hose, you can gain capacity for when you're dumb and forget to empty it. The disgusting liquid that comes out when you empty it is reason enough to get one of these.

Customer Question I was wondering if this particular catch can is baffled? I see that it has a 4 stage separating system, but not sure if that system is essentially the same as conventional baffling. Thanks in advance!

Customer Answer The can itself is not baffled. The diffuser design doesn't necessitate separate baffles.

Customer Question I was wondering about the options for this. What are teh check valves for? like looking to see how much oil you have in the catch can? because there are multiple options for 1 or 2. is the SS magnetic drain plug for your oil pan, not the catch can? thank you in advance!

Customer Answer The Billet check valves are just higher-quality parts than the standard check valves, and you can choose between replacing one or both included in the kit. The magnetic drain plug is for the catch can itself, not your oil pan.
