Easy To Install And Replace Old Bumpstop Kit

The installation of the ICON Toyota Tacoma Hydraulic bumpstop kit is a critical upgrade for off-road enthusiasts looking to enhance their vehicle's performance and ride quality. For those who have already installed a U-bolt flip kit on the rear of their Toyota Tacoma, a particular component becomes necessary to ensure proper functionality and contact. This essential component is the ICON U-bolt striker plate. The U-bolt striker plate plays a pivotal role in this setup. When installing the hydraulic bump stop kit, it replaces the existing U-bolt plate that rests on top of the factory spring. This replacement ensures that the hydraulic bump stop has an ample and proper area to make contact with. Proper contact is essential to optimize the performance of the bump stop and, consequently, your vehicle's overall suspension system.

Made With Zinc-Plated Material For Corrosion Resistance

This finish provides an added layer of protection against corrosion. Off-road vehicles are often exposed to harsh environmental conditions, including moisture and mud. The zinc-plated finish ensures the striker plate's long-lasting durability, even in such challenging situations. The striker plate not only provides a surface for the hydraulic bump stop to engage with but also enhances its overall stability. With this striker plate in place, the bump stop is less likely to shift or lose contact during intense off-road driving, which contributes to a safer and more controlled experience.
