Customer Question Do I need the driveshaft spacer? What does it do and would it hurt any parts if I don’t get it?

Asked by: Ryan - 5/27/2018
Customer Answer The driveshaft spacer is usually not required for most applications, since the yoke of your truck's driveshaft tends not to pull out far enough to cause issues. That being said, if you are planning on taking your truck higher in either the front or rear with this kit, then grabbing the driveshaft spacer is highly recommended.

Asked by: Zak Livengood - 3/14/2018

Customer Question I did read at BDS's website that if i want to install this particular kit, i would do a front drive shaft modification, what kind of modification and does this kit provide the necessary parys?

Asked by: izoz - 11/4/2016
Customer Answer The driveshaft modification for the full-time AWD F150s is less a modification, and more of the fact that you'll need to have a custom dual-carton front driveshaft made at a local shop for installation, at least according to BDS. BDS does not include any hardware or parts for the swap.

Customer Question Can the steering stabilizers be added to this kit?

Asked by: Joe - 3/26/2016
Customer Answer They can, though in general, the 2004-2008 F150s typically don't need steering stabilizers with their IFS suspension. However, if you do believe you'll need a set, give us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433.
