The shocks are designed for outstanding performance on- or off-road and have been explicitly configured for the Tundra with 0-1.5" of rear lift. The large 2.5" diameter CAD-plated, precision machined 1026 DOM steel shock body provides improved ride quality, heat dissipation, and shock damping over the standard 2.0 shocks or your truck's factory shocks and the attached 2.5" Piggyback Remote Reservoirs provide a significant upgrade to performance, heat dissipation, and shock damping. The 7/8" diameter induction-hardened, chrome-plated shock shaft is durable enough to withstand the harshest applications, and each shock is built for rust and corrosion resistance. Finally, the 6061 aircraft-grade aluminum CNC-machined components provide additional strength for off-road use. The shocks are entirely revalveable and rebuildable, giving you the ability to ensure they are operating at peak performance far into the future.
