Innovation In Design, While Incorporating Inspiration From Past Successes

Rough Country has created a new adjustable vertex shock designed to be able to handle all sorts of terrain in many different weather conditions. This design draws inspiration from their V2 Monotube shock and adds in a piggyback reservoir meant to hold more oil. The reservoir also keeps the shock cool and creates more travel for the piston. An important part about this product is it's eight stage adjustable damping system that means the shocks can adjust to wherever you need it to go. The adjustable knob is located on the top of the reservoir and acts as a dial with eight different settings. For example, cruising the city streets and going romping offroad require two different levels of damping. Rough Country's innovative monotube design features an internal floating piston that keeps the shock oil and high-pressure nitrogen separate. The reason for this separation is for a lighting fast reaction that results in unbridled vibration damping.

Made From The Best Materials, For The Best Performance

Attached to this shock is a piggyback reservoir that comes with a steel braided line. This is connected to the monotube that withholds a large 2.5in piston that is created with 22mm chrome that hardens it. This is also engineered with a zinc plate finish with a double clear coat and CNC-Machined billet aluminum accents all on a honed steel body. Another important piece to this is it's heat-treated alloy bearing on each shock. This does come as a set with one shock for the passenger and one shock for the driver side of your vehicle.
