If you use your Super Duty for what it was meant for, like towing, hauling, long trail rides, and other tough truck applications, you know the last thing you want to have on your mind is where you're going to be able to refuel next. This Titan tank is the perfect solution that greatly increases your trucks distance to empty and keeps your truck working hard. The tank itself comes complete with black coated, galvanized steel mounting straps. Its' design features an exclusive low fuel trap design that ensures each and every drop of fuel gets used and is only about 2.5" deeper than the stock OEM tank. The tank itself is created from military cross-linked polymer that is at least a quarter inch think that is tougher than steel and more durable than aluminum. Titan also puts their tanks through extensive testing to ensure you are getting the most bang for your buck.

Easy Installation And Lifetime Warranty

This product features a bolt-on installation process. The tank hangs down about one inch below the stock fuel tank shield bracket (on vehicles equipped). They also feature the Titan Torque Ring OEM style sending unit mounting system for easy installation. best part is, there is no cutting, drilling, or fabrication of any kind when installing this product. This product at rated highway MPG can give your Super Duty a just over 900 mile range without having to worry about filling up anytime soon. Titan also includes a limited lifetime warranty on this product.

Note on Distance 'Til Empty (DTE): When you upgrade to a larger fuel tank like Titan's, you will need to calibrate your fuel gauge properly to get an accurate read on DTE (distance till empty). This can be done using a program called FORScan and will require a compatible OBDII adapter that can read and send data via cable or Bluetooth back to your FORScan software, which can be downloaded via PC, laptop, or smart phone. Once you're set up, you can access the vehicle's computer system through the FORScan software and update your tank size to the new one installed. FORScan does offer a free trial version of the software, although you can pay the subscription fee for full access to the software.

2014 F-250

Only had on my truck for a short time but I’m happy with it so far. It hangs down a couple inches lower than the factory running boards so I probably wouldn’t want to do any aggressive wheeling with it but my truck is mostly used for pulling a 5th wheel camper. It was easy to install, I didn’t even lift the truck to put it in. I had to remove the running board & it was a little questionable connecting the fuel lines blindly since I was on my back. Only took a couple hours to be up & running again. I reprogrammed the system using forscan to accommodate the larger tank size. I’m glad I filled it up before diesel prices shot up. Gonna be painful next time I’m at the pump.

2016 Ford F-350

I purchased this 60 gallon fuel tank because I needed extra range for hauling my travel trailer. According to my installer, it was not easy to get to the top of the tank to reconnect the wire and hoses, but otherwise it was direct bolt up. I fits perfectly. I does extend below the running boards, but only slightly. I expected it would be much more noticable according to previous reviews I read. The installation instructions were thorough and complete. Registering the product was easy. I'm very happy with this purchase.

2015 F250 SD Crew 6.75 bed

The tank has not been installed too long, still working on my first fillup. I wanted to get more range per tank as I tow a travel trailer. I had my mechanic install the tank, he said it gave him a little difficulty but he got it done. I used ForScan to edit the tank size for DTE calculation. The tank hangs low, but no lower than the factory running boards.

2012 F-350

I opted to have it installed at my local shop for about $400. Changed tank size in my tuner app and immediately got almost four-digit DTE reading when full. I may have to fill up once every 3-4 weeks when not towing. Definitely don't need to worry about running dry in the broad desert sections here in the southwest with my toy hauler. Would definitely recommend. Only issue I am having now is an apparent lag in getting fuel up to the engine as it cranks a lot longer before turning over. Not sure how that could be a tank issue, but that was the only change.

Will this interfere with aftermarket airbags?

This kit will not fit a SuperCab/Extended cab truck. It will only fit SuperCrew 6.75ft bed Super Dutys.

This tank is a drop-in replacement for the factory fuel tank. It accepts the stock fuel pump and sending unit. The tank comes with hardware and reuses stock hardware so that you can drop-it into your truck out of the box. You can check out Titan's install instructions here.

The only method that we're currently aware of is to use ForScan and change the DTE calculation in the IPC settings. Some dealerships are able to do this, but you would have to call around first.
