While the 3.0L Powerstroke diesel under the hood of your 2018-2021 F150 may get pretty spectacular fuel economy, but in order for you to get the most range and extend stops between fill-ups while towing, you're going to need a larger fuel tank. That's why Titan Tanks developed this 48-gallon mid-ship fuel tank for the 3.0L Powerstroke F150s. Specifically designed for diesel fuel, the Titan Tank 48-Gallon Fuel Tank adds 12 gallons of capacity over Ford's 36-gallon tanks and 22 gallons of capacity over the standard-issue 26-gallon OEM tanks. The huge increase in fuel capacity greatly increases your F150's range, meaning you'll take less stops on long road trips or when hauling heavy loads or trailers near your GVWR or GCWR. Titan's fuel tank drops right into place of your F150's factory fuel tank and reuses your stock fuel pump, making it a hassle-free range upgrade over stock.

Heavy-Duty Polymer Construction with Straightforward Installation

Titan carefully crafts their mid-ship fuel tanks to exacting standards and designs them for a perfect fit and function on your F150. Each tank is made out of military-grade XLHDPE cross-linked polymer that's rated to hold diesel fuel. The tank is 1/4" thick to provide it strength and rigidity to handle nearly any application. Despite its large capacity difference over stock, Titan's Mid-Ship F150 diesel fuel tank only hangs 1.9" lower than the factory tank so that you don't sacrifice a ton of ground clearance or put your fuel in harm's way. The tank features a Titan-exclusive low fuel trap so that nearly every gallon of fuel you put in can be used. Each tank comes with galavnized steel mounting straps and reuses the stock fuel pump, sending unit, and hardware. Titan even backs their tanks with a Limited Lifetime Warranty.

Diesel fuel only: this tank is only rated for diesel fuel, and is not designed to hold gasoline. Using this tank with gasoline could cause extremely dangerous conditions.

Only had tank installed a short time, but only filled it up once, with my supermarket discount only cost me around $80...... fill up seems to last forever.... nice to have..

This is an awesome tank! I fill it up with my dollar/gallon off from the supermarket and before President Biden took over it cost less than $70 bucks to fillit up and one tank full lasts over a month. I get over 1000 miles to the tank full.

The Factory tank comes with a heat shield and skid plate, does the new tank have a heat shield and skid plate or is the old one compatible?

This tank is almost twice the size of the factory tank and will not be able to utilize the factory skid plate or heat shield. Titan has informed us that with the thickness and type of material used, that this tank is much more resistant to damage than factory steel tanks and does not need a skid plate or heat shield and is covered by a lifetime warranty.

The stock fuel tank skid will not fit. The factory engine skid/front bash plate will fit without issues.

Does the fuel gauge, flow, consumption, etc... still work with the larger tank?

Yep. The fuel gauge will work as normal, and so will the MPG calculation. The only data that gets thrown off is the Distance-to-Empty, which will need to be changed via ForScan, though some dealer service departments can also do the programming.

does adding a new tank hurt the warranty?

In general, since this tank reuses all the OEM hardware and doesn't require permanent modifications to your truck, it should not have an effect on your Bumper-to-Bumper or Powertrain Warranties. However, all warranty decisions are up to individual Service Departments, and your best bet would be to talk to your Service Advisor directly about what kind of leeway they give.

In theory, a drop-in replacement tank like this won't have an effect on your truck's Powertrain or Bumper-to-Bumper Warranties (assuming a correct installation). However, all warranty decisions are up to individual dealerships and service centers, and you should probably talk to your service advisor directly about what kind of leeway they're willing to give.
