With their Blackhawk Induction Air Intake System, K&N uses one of their largest air filters available and built the rest of the system around it. Great product. Less than an hour to install. Gives a great throaty sound when you step on the gas. MPG went up slightly.

2019 F150 5.0

Great quality and easy install. Tough to gauge any type of hp gains but it does sound good when you are on throttle. However there is a super annoying high pitched whistle between 1000-2000rpm. Initially I thought it was air squeezing in between the hood and rubber gasket that comes with the kit but upon further research, it looks like this is “normal” and the sound of air passing the throttle plate. Not sure but it really is annoying to the point that I don’t like driving with the window down.

will this fit on my 16 5.0 with the boss 302. intake manifold?

We've never tried fitting this kit with the taller Boss manifold on the 5.0L F150 so we could not guarantee you wouldn't have any fitment issues.

I'm looking to purchase this for my 2019 f150 5.0. Was wondering if its street legal in New York?

Since New York is using CARB standards for all newer vehicles, this kit would not be street-legal for a 2019 F150 in New York. This kit is only CARB-approved up to the 2017 F150 5.0Ls.

This cold air intake kit is only CARB-approved and 50-state legal for 2015 F150 5.0L models. CARB approval is still pending for 2016-2018 F150 model years.
