The 2019-2023 Ford Ranger does not have the most boisterous sound, so if you want a more aggressive truck, then the Flowmaster FlowFX Cat-Back Exhaust Kit is for you. Flowmaster's FlowFX System completely replaces your Ranger's entire factory exhaust system with new hardware that adds a deeper, louder, and more aggressive exhaust note that is sure to turn some heads on and off the road. The FlowFX Cat-Back Exhaust Kit features larger tubing and a more aggressive muffler to generate a great sound for your aggressive Ranger build all in one excellent, high-quality kit. Each kit exits behind the passenger-side rear tire and comes with 4.5" black ceramic coated tips that add a great look. Flowmaster's FlowFX cat-back easily installs in place of your Ranger's stock cat-back system using factory hanger locations, making it easy to add a great sound to your off-road ready build.

Features 3" Diameter Tubing and 409 Stainless Steel Construction

Each FlowFX cat-back system features a high-quality construction and are each finely-tuned and designed by Flowmaster to give your Ranger a nice, mean, and noticeable sound. The FlowFX system is built around 3" diameter tubing that's all CNC mandrel-bent to give your truck smooth exhaust outflow with minimal restrictions. The Flowmaster kit is built around a round, absorption-type FlowFX straight-through muffler that uses a center-positioned inlet and outlet. The muffler provides a deeper and louder tone than stock to earn the respect of passing people. Inside the cab, you will only experience a moderate tone for a comfortable ride. The system's FlowFX muffler and tubing is made out of 409S stainless steel that's resistant to corrosion in most climates and applications. However, the angle cut, rolled tip uses 304 stainless steel instead. Each kit comes with a full set of installation hardware and instructions.

2019 Ford Ranger

Installation was quick and overall I'm very satisfied with the quality and sound. There is no drone to be heard from within the cab at cruising speeds, but the tone becomes very prominent and deep under acceleration.

2019 Ford Ranger

It has proven difficult to make Ford Ecoboost motors sounds "good" as most would say, and I can't disagree with that. When i researched exhaust for my Ranger I was skeptical until i came across the Flowmaster FX. Now, it's still a four cylinder motor so let's not get too crazy with sound you're expecting. The exhaust note is deep with an increasing "raspyness" as you get higher in the RPM's. The sound is not obnoxious but rather subdued unless you want to make it obnoxious by stomping the skinny pedal. There is a little drone at certain speeds but it is not intrusive to conversation. The installation was easy as it is a drop in system that bolts up and hangs in all the factory locations. I wrapped my exhaust in fiberglass header wrap as well for a little less "tin can" effect at the tail pipe. Good product produced by Flowmaster.

2019 Ford Ranger

This pipe is LOUD. While being very well constructed, this thing is absolutely obnoxious while accelerating over 3k RPM. There is a considerable drone present while cruising 70mph at 2k RPM. The noise actually made my truck not fun to drive. It didn't last 24hours before taking it back to the shop. If you are looking to get run out of your neighborhood, this is the pipe for you!

2019 ranger

Exhaust is very loud indeed but the gf and I like it. I also have the SPD downpipe installed. Exhaust does muffle out the turbo spool that I had with just the downpipe and k&n filter. I for one don’t care for my neighbors so I’m ok annoying them

2020 Ford Ranger

As always (3 previous vehicles), Flowmaster provides awesome sounding exhaust with good performance. This kit was very easy to install, and also looks good - excellent fitment. My only gripe is although the exhaust is 3" almost everywhere, and states as such, it has a tiny 2.5" segment ahead of the flex pipe to connect to your downpipe. This is useful if your downpipe is stock, but I believed the 3" statement meant it would be compatible with my SPD downpipe with the 3" output adapter. Simple fix however, I just need to get it to the shop to cut the 2.5" segment off and do some welding.

The install went great, the exhaust went on easy and love the sound it gives and zero drone at cruising or highway speeds. I also noticed a boost in throttle/turbo response the stock ecoboost systems tend to be very restrictive to keep it quiet for the driver

Everything seems to line up good except the 2.5in clamp from DP-Flex, it's not big enough to make a tight seal, so I have to get a 2.75in clamp, kind of annoying when you pay for direct fit and it doesn't.....

2021 ford ranger tremor

It really wakes up the truck sound good for what it is and has a deeper tone then I was expecting. Some complaints the packaging was horrible barely made it to the house and I has to bend some of the connections points back to the way they were ment to be so that everything would go together due to being damaged during shipping

This system is legal in all states, but may not pass local sound decibel regulations if you live in an area that is restricted. The FlowFX mufflers is considered to have a moderate/aggressive sound level.

This kit can be shipped to New York state. This is a cat-back system and does not effect your truck's emissions, and does not fall under CARB purview.
