Real Dyno Numbers Behind This Super Duty Exhaust

This Flow FX system for the 6.2L, 6.8L, and 7.3L gas Super Duty trucks backs up its sound with actual dyno-proven gains of 7 hp and 12 lb-ft at the rear wheels, so this isn't just a tone upgrade. The Flow FX straight-through muffler is built for a moderate, deep exhaust note rather than anything overly loud, which fits well on a work truck you're driving daily or towing with regularly. Feeding that muffler is 3.5-inch mandrel-bent 409 stainless steel tubing, a notable step up in diameter that helps the truck breathe better and supports future engine work if you add more modifications down the road. The whole system exits out the side behind the rear wheel, finished with a large 5-inch black ceramic coated tip that gives the truck a more aggressive look without shouting for attention.

Straightforward Install and Long-Term Durability

Everything here bolts up using the factory hanger locations, so there's no cutting, welding, or fabrication needed, and the kit comes with full instructions and all the hardware required for an at-home install. The 409 stainless steel construction is built to handle years of road salt, weather, and daily use without breaking down, which matters on a truck that's likely doing real work. Once it's on, expect a deeper, more purposeful exhaust note at idle and under load, along with that small but noticeable bump in power and torque that comes from opening up the exhaust flow. It's backed by Flowmaster's lifetime limited warranty, so you're covered for the long haul on a system built to handle exactly that.
