Customer Question I bought these and the instructions say there should be motor covers and they are missing. Are they necessary or are the motors pretty weather resistant?

Customer Question Do these sliders provide durable protection from large rocks while climbing obstacles?

Customer Answer This kit is not a set of frame-mounted rock sliders. They cannot support the weight of the entire truck. While they can offer some level of rocker protection from a bump or scrape, the steps are made out of extruded aluminum, and their ability to take a hard hit and make it out in one piece is questionable.
