2015-2020 Ford F150 AMP Research PowerStep XL Running Boards | 77151-01A

AMP PowerSteps Provide Convenience & Safety

Getting into your lifted F150 doesn't need to feel like work when you equip your modified truck with an awesome new set of running boards from AMP Research. Unlike some side steps and running boards on the market, these automatic, electric-powered running boards are not just for show and instead work for you to ensure that you and your passengers have an easier time getting in and out of the cab. A running board instantly extends when you open your door, and then hides itself safely out of sight when the doors close for improved ground clearance, aerodynamics and appearance. These XL Series Running Boards give you an extra 3" more height than the original PowerStep versions in case you've gone wild and given your F150 a massive lift. Whatever height you've altered your truck to, the PowerStep XL Running Boards will provide you and your passengers with immediate convenience, out and down, making it a whole lot easier to enter or exit the truck cab from any door. As a bonus feature, LED lights automatically kick on to safely illuminate your way when it's dark. This system incorporates a high-traction, textured, powder-coat finish that provides maximum grip and rugged durability in all weather conditions.

Innovative Design & Construction

If you're looking the best running board option on the market, you've found it with the PowerStep XL. The innovative engineers incorporate twin internal ribs and high-strength, die-cast aluminum alloy components into these automated side steps that deploy instantly and provide maximum stiffness that can support up to 600 lbs. This version of AMP's PowerSteps features 6063 Marine-Grade construction that is connected to a high-strength bracket that extends your steps out 3 more inches than the original PowerStep version. The heavy duty weather-sealed motors and drive system, with pinch-proof safety technology, deliver year-round dependability as well as resistance to corrosion. PowerStep incorporates a low profile, integrated LED lighting system which illuminates each entry point automatically when doors are opened.
