Install is pretty easy, but then you will probably end up adjusting it a few times. I feel like the rails are designed for the F150, but then rigged for the ranger as an afterthought. The shims feel a bit cheesy. I’ve had mine on for about a month now, and the rails settled some because of the shims, and now rubbed a scratch into the top of my tailgate. Not much water gets in from the back near the cab, but some does get in from the big gaps in the tailgate. A seal kit would probably fix that if i cared. Sometimes the cover will not lock down good if the tailgate is up when I close the cover. At the next stop I’ll realize it’s sticking up. Overall I do really like it, and stage3 had the best price by a long shot. Rolling the cover up is easy and I can still see out the back window. I’d buy it again probably

2019 Ranger

Instructions are for a generic truck bed and not vehicle specific. The supplied rubber shims on the rails were misaligned and caused the rails to twist (2019 Ranger). I had to install it three times to finally get it to sit flush with the rails, ended up removing the rubber shims.

2019 Ford Ranger Lariat

I bought this for the security it can provide to items in my bed. I was excited when it arrived and made sure I followed the instructions as written. However, the instructions are scattered on 4 different documents and are almost impossible to follow. After I installed this item, I found that there was a line near the front of the bed where the cover would not seat correctly. I found that the aluminum slat was not seated correctly with the next aluminum slat. I called customer support where they did not mention that the were closed on the weekend and was hung up on by their automated system multiple times when attempting to leave a message.
