Improves Performance and Prevents Spark Blowout Under Boost

The 2015-2017 F150 2.7L EcoBoosts need a strong and consistent spark to run at their best, especially when under load during towing or aggressive driving on or off the road. To ensure that you'll need this full set of six MSD Blaster Ignition Coils. Specifically designed for the 2015-2017 F150 2.7L EcoBoosts, this set of six MSD Blaster Ignition Coils features more efficient windings and higher-quality materials than most OEM and OES replacement coil packs, which allows them to feed your spark plugs more voltage to generate a stronger and more consistent spark even in high-load applications. MSD's Blaster Ignition Coils install right into place of your F150's stock coils and can instantly give your truck slightly improved power, fuel economy and throttle response. MSD's Blaster Coils don't require tuning, making them a hassle-free upgrade.

Patented Windings with High-Quality Materials and Plug-and-Play Connectors

MSD's Blaster Coils for the 2015-2017 F150 2.7L EcoBoosts feature a high-quality construction and patented design that give your EcoBoost F150 a bump in performance all without hassles. The MSD Blaster Coils are built around MSD's patented windings that generate higher voltage than stock or basic stock-replacement coil packs which then help your spark plugs create a stronger and more consistent spark, even in high-boost conditions so that your EcoBoost F150 doesn't suffer from spark blowout when you really need the power. Each coil pack is made out of high-quality materials and features a plug-and-play wiring connector that allows you to swap them out with your stock coil packs in only a matter of minutes. This version of MSD Blaster Coils feature a red top that helps give your truck's motor a high-performance look. MSD backs their coil packs with a 1-year limited warranty.

Will these fit a 2018 F-150 2.7L? I’m not sure if ford changed coil packs from 2017 to 2018.

Asked by: Luke - 11/8/2023

Unfortunately, they will not. MSD does not currently have a part number available for the 2018-2019 2.7L EcoBoosts as of yet.

Will these work on a 3.5 eco boost or just the 2.7?

Asked by: Richard - 4/9/2020

They will not. These particular coil packs only work on the 2.7L EcoBoost trucks. A version of these coils for the 2011-2016 F150 3.5L EcoBoosts is here.
