Is this a direct drop in? Do you need to purchase a different pedestal or other parts like what you normally need to do when swapping to a newer turbo on the 11-14?

This is a drop in replacement for any truck with the factory VGT turbo and does not require you purchasing any other pedestal or parts beyond the normal wearing gaskets/seals needed for standard replacment.

Does this come with everything needed to install? Or would i need to purchase new gasket kit also?

This listing is just for the turbo, so you would need to get any gaskets or seals to complete the install.

Is this the gt37 turbo from the 2015-2019 f350s? The upgrade from the gt32?

No, this is a 100% new redesigned unit for the 11-14 6.7L superduty trucks and is not a replacement for the 15-19 F350.

Yep. This particular turbocharger does use upgraded ball bearings.
