These LED headlights are even more bad ass in person. Installation is time consuming because it’s a Ford, but the actual install of the headlights is very simple. Plugs right into the factory harness. Wiring in the added harness so the DRLs work correctly in the auto setting is also very simple. Only two wires that hook to the battery for power and one added wire with inline fuse that replaces the fuse in socket #24. That’s it! The lights do not come with any instructions for installation or explaining how to wire the harness. Ended up calling AlphaRex and the guy got back to me the next day with what socket to plug the inline fuse to. The lights work great. Good nighttime vision and nice cut-off pattern. They do need to be adjusted so not to blind oncoming drivers. That’s a simple process too. Just a single Phillips screwdriver will adjust the beam vertically on the back of each headlight.

So I ordered these 1 week ago and got them today. Thankfully my friend had no problem helping me install them that night. I still have to correct the aim but to say the least these are awesome!!!!! Before I had drop in LED's in the reflector housings. The glare was just horrible. With there I don't have to worry and the light output is wonderful!!

Lights are just as advertised. Simple install and plug and play wiring. The piggyback fuse is simple to install and comes ready to go. 10/10 would recommend to anyone with an XL/XLT trim for LED upgrade and to Lariat owners for a different look.

Got these because my factory headlights with drop in LED had to much glare. These defiantly improve the looks on Truck and have good light output. The only issue I can see is the the light pattern there is more light on the right hand side. The step you see on the pictures is not just one light, both lights have that step on the right side. I mention this since when I drive down country roads the step creates a shadow that I thought was an animal crossing the road in front of me.

These lights look and work great. Surprised no one has spoken about the start up sequence that is programed in the light. Was a added surprise when I first installed and turned on. Couple things about the light and install. First, install can be lengthy. Requires the front grille, and valance (piece below grille) to be removed. If you have a wide body kit installed. It can be done with removing the side panels. Also requires a lengthy extention and torqs bit 25 or 27. Can't remember now. Is a nice and simple plug and play with all functions besides daylight accent lighting. If you want the accent lights on during the day, you need to wire them to fuse 24 in the fuse box under the hood. Only concern I have with these lights is about replacing the leds if they ever go out.

Customer Question Can the bulbs be replaced once they burn out or does the entire assembly need to be replaced?

Customer Answer These headlights do not use a traditional bulb and would require the headlight be disassembled and the led projector assembly replaced if you have an issue with a projector failing. Alpharex offers a 2 year warranty on this headlight, and once you pass that warranty period, you can reach out to them for repair services if you don't have a local shop that is able to make the repair.

Customer Question I recently bought these headlights and installed them. The DRL‘s do not function in the automatic light setting. Is there something that I’m doing incorrectly?

Customer Answer The DRL outlines should only come on when the low beams activate themselves. They should not come on with the headlight switch solely in automatic mode, since they're tied in with the parking light function. Customer Question Which are brighter - these or the Morimoto XB's?

Customer Answer While we don't have output specs on either lights, it's a bit of an apples and oranges comparison, considering the LUXX series is less expensive and only comes with two LED projectors. The Morimoto XBs likely outperform the LUXX series. The more equivalent comparison would be with the Alpharex Nova Series.

Customer Question Im interested in purchasing these lights but i have a question about the sidemarker light. I replaced my stock sidemarker lights with aftermarket ones that do not use a bulb. i do not have the old bulbs. will i need to buy bulbs for these headlights?

Customer Answer The side markers on the fenders don't effect the fitment of these lights. If you've changed the headlight sidemarker for something else, you may have an issue.

Customer Question What is the "module" to be applied? How would that be different than adjusting DRL function in Forscan? I currently have Lariat headlights on a 2020 XL.

Customer Answer The DRL Module is essentially an add-a-fuse kit that makes the LED outlines function as full-time DRLs. Using the DRL function in ForScan will work, but that also turns the low beam into a full-time DRL, which you may or may not want to do.

Customer Question These DO come with the LEDs installed correct? I don't have to buy bulbs separately?

Customer Answer These headlights come with built-in LED boards for the high beams, low beams, and turn signal. The LUXX Series does reuse your stock sidemarker bulb, so that won't be LED. That being said, no additional bulbs are required.
