The stock headlights of the 2015-2017 F150s aren't much to either look at or run on your truck. If you want to give your 2015-2017 F150 one of the most aggressive looks out there along with some improved functionality, all you really need is the AlphaRex Pro Series Projector Headlights. These headlights feature a double projector design for both the high and low beams that's surrounded by an LED outline strip that functions as both a white true DRL running light and an amber turn signal with a sequential function that gives your F150 one of the most unique aggressive looks around. Both the projectors and the multi-function LED outline are set in an aggressive matte black housing that fits in perfectly with other black exterior parts and dark styling theme. The headlights come standard with a clear outer lens that lets the projectors and outline strip shine crisply through.

Dual Projector Design with Dual-Function LED Outline Strips and Clear Polycarbonate Lens

The AlphaRex Pro Series Projector Headlights add an awesome, new look to your F150 while providing excellent and unique functionality. The Pro Series headlights are built around halogen H7 bulbs that power both the high beams and low beams. Both H7s sit inside a specially-designed square projector housing that generate a tight, powerful beam pattern with a distinctive cutoff that prevents blinding other drivers, especially if choose to use HID or LED conversion kits. The LED outline strip runs the entire outer perimeter of each headlight and has a white LED running light that functions as a true DRL thanks to a complete DRL module that taps directly into your F150's fuse box to draw constant power. The outline strip also has an amber turn signal with a sequential function that sweeps back during signaling, startup, and unlocking. The lens is made out of durable polycarbonate with both an anti-fog and anti-oxidation coating to keep the headlights looking clean. The Pro Series headlights feature a drop-in, plug-and-play installation and come backed by a 2-year limited warranty.

For base OEM halogen F150s only: these headlights will only fit on F150s that came from the factory with base halogen reflector headlights and will not fit trucks originally equipped with OEM LED projector headlights.

2016 F-150

I purchased these lights and installed them about a month ago. Best money ever spent, very happy with the results. They were supposed to come with instructions, but didn't. Really didn't need them anyways, there are enough videos on YouTube. They were very easy to install and wire up, it was pretty much all plug and play except for the wiring harness. If you want the white led planks to be on with the engine you must wire in the harness. I had to buy a fuse tap adapter and a couple of fuses to complete the wiring. I bought a set of Headlight Revolution SV-4 LEDs and the light output is phenomenal with a very sharp cutoff line. Save yourself the thousand dollars and get these instead of the Morimotos. I'm very happy that I did and would highly recommend them to anyone who is on the fence for a lighting upgrade.

F150 Special Edition XLT

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THESE HEADLIGHTS!!!! I got the advanced version with the Special boot feature of the switch backs. Very cool looking and extremely SHARP! I installed LED into the low and high beams and it handles them very well. Way better than your typical halogen projector.

2015 F-`50

Fantastic headlights. Fitment is perfect. Install directions that Alpha Rex provides could be better. Plenty of how-to YouTube videos out there. I also replaced the halogen H7's with some Beamtech LED H7's. Much better beam, just make sure you adjust them accordingly so you don't blind other drivers.

2016 F-150 XLT

I still do not understand why Ford doesn’t have a factory option headlight with a black housing (similar to what they did with the 2011-14 FX4 package). These headlights completed the chrome delete of my truck and look fantastic. Install was straight forward, even for someone with limited experience. DRL module install instructions from Alpharex were not the best, and could be improved, but the YouTube videos they link to on their site help. Word of caution - if you plan on installing with the DRL module (this gives you a brighter output on the LED surrounds when headlights are not on, but isn’t required), make sure you get a fuse tap (ATM style), and an extra fuse prior to starting the install. I had to take the wife’s car to the auto parts store with my front end taken apart mid install to complete. Overall – Product is great, action on turn signals, lock/unlock and start up are sweet, and install was relatively easy. Definitely worth the money and few hours for install to completely change the look of the front end.

Excellent upgrade, easy to install, and look amazing. Plug and play if you don’t use the DRL, highly recommended hooking up the DRL. DRL requires minor wiring that can be done easily in an afternoon.

2016 F150 FX4

I can't recommend these headlights enough. They are one of the only lights I know of that are almost entirely plug-n-play with the kinds of features these lights have.. all while costing less than OEM... hard to beat it. I put some LED bulbs in the low beams and that took it all to another level. Get it, you won't regret it.

2017 f150

I love these headlights! I ordered the pro version w/ the halogen projectors and i was worried about the brightness. They are super bright and have great cut off so you dont blind oncoming traffic! They are much brighter than factory.

2017 F150

I'll start with the bad and end with the good. The Bad: One light arrived perfect and the other had some alarming flaws. I am sure I could have documented these things and shipped everything back for a replacement but I didn't feel like going through all of that. The bad headlight showed up with the upper projector housing inside of the fixture actually separated and rolling around lose. I could see that one of the tabs was broken so it must have been dropped at some point. I was able to sneak a screwdriver I wrapped in soft tissue paper and push the projector housing back into place. There was also wiring that was wrapped in front of the lower projector housing facing the front of the light. I had to snake a pick into the back of the light and pull and tuck it out of sight. The good: Lights function great, fitment was really nice and they make the truck look very modern. For the price of these in comparison to the other brands I am going to say the issues I had was worth dealing with.

How would you compare these to the ones from Anzo I saw they're similar prices? I'm trying to stay under 500 dollars, the morimoto hybrids are appealing but a little pricey. Also how is the stock brightness of these lights? I saw a few people complain about the brightness of the Anzo lights if they didn't opt to upgrade to the led bulbs. Thank you!

Output with the halogen bulbs is more or less the same. You're only going to get so much with the base H7 bulbs. Really, you should just go with the set of headlights that have the features or looks you want.

The standard Black version here has a matte black housing, while the Jet Black has a gloss black finish.

They will not. These headlights use H7 bulbs for the high and low beams, and you would require an H7 LED conversion kit.

What is the difference between the pro and base

Technically, AlphaRex's "Pro" Series is there base headlights and comes with halogen bulbs. The higher-tier Nova Series uses built-in LEDs and have a lot higher output than the Pro Series' halogens.

They do not. These headlights have a standard butyl seal.

In theory, the Pro Series headlights will technically work with just about any H7 LED conversion kit. However, we have not personally tested any LED conversion kits on the Pro Series Lights ourselves, and we can't guarantee that any LED conversion kit will fit without a dust cover modification.
