Love the look and function of the headlights. I have 2 complaints. Headlights that cost $600 plus dollars should come with led bulbs, not halogen. I swapped the halogen bulbs with Lasfit LED, and second. I did not hook up the wire harness that came with the headlights, it was too short, it did not reach the driver side headlight.

I just got these installed and they look amazing. I did connect the DRL harness to fuse #36 and have not had any issues. I also replaced the halogen bulbs with the LED hikari H7 bulbs for both the hi and low beams I would recommend spending the extra and getting the Hikari H7 ultras for best light output.

Bought these lights almost 4 years ago…. Just know the warrenty only is valid 1-2 years . My led DRL’s went out on one side of the truck … it’s out of warrenty so the manfacture was pretty much useless as far as help. If your on a budget and don’t expect to keep the lights for over a couple years then they are suitable . If you want a quality set- buy morimmota! Longer warrenty and better lights

Purchased to improve lighting over OEM Halogen lights and I really like the looks of the Alpharex Pros. At first I went with the bulbs that came with them and they put out good light, much improved over OEM. But, I did not like the color so I installed Halkari H7 bulbs and color was great but output seemed to be lacking. I did some research and thought I would try the GTR Ultra Series 2.0 from Headlight revolution. WOW! is all I got to say, now the performance and light out put is equal to the looks of the Alpharex Pros. yes, four H7 bulbs cost just over $400 dollars shipped so combined with the Pros, cost is just over a $1,000. But you get the looks of the Pros and the output of the Novas. I loved the performance of the Novas but I just did not love the looks. I now have exactly what I was looking for.

Customer Question Can you disable the amber sequential turn signal for a standard blinking amber turn signal?

Asked by: JD - 7/20/2023
Customer Answer Unfortunately I have not found any options from AlphaRex to change the blinker pattern. The only option I have found is you can switch from a white drl/parking to amber with swapping out one of the circuit boards that you can purchase direct through them.

Customer Question I am getting a bit of condensation on my passenger side headlight. Any suggestions on what to do to fix this issue or what could be causing it?

Asked by: Noe - 6/28/2022
Customer Answer The best way to get condensation out of a headlight is top remove the bulb housing covers and leave the truck (or just the headlight) in a warm, dry place until it dissipates. Some amount of condensation is pretty much unavoidable, due to the interiors being vented to avoid pressure build-up with changes in barometric pressure and/or altitude, and big swings in temperatures and humidity can cause some condensation to form. To help avoid it, ensure that the seals on the housing covers are in good shape and that the lens seals aren't deteriorating,

Customer Question If you have DRL on truck factory, could you modify a connector to use, instead of tapping into a fuse box for the AlphaRex DRL?

Asked by: Nathan - 11/2/2021
Customer Answer If your truck already has full-time low-beam DRLs, I don't believe you'll need to use the module, but we have not tried these headlights on a truck with OEM DRLs (they're pretty rare down here), and we can't strictly guarantee what you'll need to do.

Customer Question Which led bulbs can work with this headlamp

Asked by: Mike - 10/30/2020
Customer Answer In theory, any H7 LED conversion kit will work with both the low and high beam housings. However, we have not tried any kits in these headlights as of yet, and we can't guarantee that any will fit without a dust cover modification.

Customer Question my headlights automatically turn my brights on and off when it senses a car will that still work? Also is there a model of these headlights that use led bulbs instead of Halogen bulbs?

Asked by: Tylersp99 - 10/4/2020
Customer Answer Yep. The auto headlights feature will still work with the AlphaRex headlights. The Nova Series Headlights use built-in LEDs instead of halogen bulbs.

Customer Question Are you able to put LED high and lows in them?

Asked by: Jeff - 4/30/2020
Customer Answer In theory, yes. These headlights use an H7 halogen bulb, and you can technically use an H7 LED conversion kit. However, we have not tried to fit any conversion kits ourselves in these headlights, so we can't guarantee what kits will fit inside the housings without a dust cover modifications.

Customer Question Does this assembly come with the LED bulb upgrade?

Asked by: Jason - 12/31/2019
Customer Answer The Pro Series headlights do not come with LED high beam or low beam bulbs. These headlights use halogen bulbs for the high and low beams.

Customer Question The DRL portion says a wire that runs to the fuse box for constant power. My truck has a setting in the vehicle to turn on or off DRL. Is there additional wiring that needs done or does the factory control in the truck take care of it

Asked by: Eric Hastings - 12/1/2019
Customer Answer It does not. Due to being hard-wired into the add-a-fuse kit and getting power from the distribution box, the DRL strip will stay on regardless of what the automatic headlights or OEM DRL system does.

Customer Question So are these the sequential led turn signals for $560? Or are they a different model number?

Asked by: Mike - 11/5/2019
Customer Answer AlphaRex recently updated these headlights to have sequential turn signals, which are now standard for the whole Pro-Series line.

Customer Question Do you need the signal adaptor for the 2018 f150?

Asked by: H - 10/21/2019
Customer Answer They do not. According to AlphaRex, only the 2019 F150s require the signal adapter upgrade.
