Customer Question I have a 2017 TRD Off-road Tacoma what harness will I need to purchase with the headlights?

Customer Answer Headlights are not trim exclusive except for the Pro model. The fitment on if you need the harness is that any Tacoma that is equipped with the factory drl outline will require the harness as well. So as long as your TRD Off-road does not have the light outline around it on the factory housing, you will not need it. If your Tacoma had the drl outline on the factory headlights, than you will need to also add the harness from the dropdown box.

Customer Question I have a 2020 trd sport. Do I need an extra harness or any other converter?

Customer Answer A converter harness is only required on Tacomas with OEM LED headlights, namely the TRD Pro. If your truck has base halogen headlights, a converter harness is not required.

Customer Answer These headlights will fit a 2019 Tacoma SR5 with factory halogen headlights, and you would not require the LED converter harness.

Customer Question I have a 2022 Tacoma SR. I was looking to purchase the alpharex nova projector headlights but wanted to know how you guys got the DRL to be amber. Is there a diagram you can supply? Also, I'm assuming the alpha-black is a darker tint than the black? Finally, do I need a converter harness?

Customer Answer We did not have amber DRLs. We just put the flashers on to show the amber function. We can provide no guidance on making the DRLs Amber, if it's even possible.
