2020 Ford Ranger
This downpipe fit great, and with Flowmaster exhaust, sounds awesome! It comes with both 2.5" and 3" output adapters to support either stock or upgraded main exhaust. Install was pretty simple, but you have to go through the passenger wheel well to get the bolts.

Customer Question What 3" cat-back part #s will attach to this ?

Customer Answer Most aftermarket catback systems use reducers where they bolt to the downpipes so that they work with the factory 2.5" tubing so not many options are available that are true 3" at the downpipe. SPD offers their kits with a 3" option where it goes into the downpipe. Otherwise none of the other brands are true 3" at the downpipe connection and would require you to have the pipe expanded to the 3" size if you choose to go with the 3" instead of 2.5" adapter in the dropdown.

Customer Question Will this fit a 2023 ranger it says wont fit 2022 but what about a 2023?

Customer Answer This listing will only work up to the 2021 Ranger. 2022+ rangers have a different setup. We currently don't have the 2022+ ranger part number listed, but give our sales team a call at 623.434.5277 option 1 and they can help get an order placed for one.

Customer Question Does this need to be wrapped with exhaust tape or have a heat shield?

Customer Answer This downpipe is coated with a high heat ceramic coating that helps reduce exhaust temperatures, and use of a heat wrap or shield is not necessary to run this downpipe.

Customer Question I read that this doesn't cause a CEL. Would I be able to pass inspection with this?

Customer Answer This downpipe uses an EPA-approved catalytic converter and won't cause a CEL.

Customer Question Do you know if the Ford Performance calibration part number M-9603-REB Is enough of a tune to avoid the LEAN scenario you mentioned in one of the other questions?

Customer Answer The Ford Performance Tune is only meant for the stock downpipe, and we can't guarantee how well it work with this downpipe or what it'll do to AFR. Secondly, the 3-year/36,000 mile Ford Performance warranty would likely have issues with any other downpipe than stock.

Customer Answer An additional flex pipe is not required. the SPD downpipe comes with adapters for both stock and 3" cat-backs.

Customer Answer Yep. This kit is designed to install with the factory cat-back, but will also fit with aftermarket cat-backs that fit with the stock downpipe and don't require modifications to the factory downpipe.
