These give my 2012 FX4 the perfect stance with the stock rear still sitting about 1/2 higher than the front and allowed me to run 275/65/R20 on the stock 20 wheels without any rubbing. My only complaint was about the installation instructions. The instructions failed to mention that you really need a small bottle jack or the screw jack from the truck and a ratchet strap to get the lower A-arm down far enough to reinstall the strut with the spacer. Install on the driver's side took about 2 hours while I figured that out, then less than 30 minutes on the passenger side. Going solely off the quality of the spacers and the price, it would be 5 stars, but the incomplete instructions drop it to 4.

After lots of search to see which size life i want I finally got this 1.5in strut space and Im more than happy with the outcome. After install i took my measurements and the truck sit 1/4 down in the front from level. Only problem i had was instruction need to be updated for 2014 and newer f150 due to a different lower bolt setup on the strut. I was able to figure it out but you have to complete disassemble the spindle to gain even Clarance to reinstall strut with space on. Overall tho i love this lift and would recommend it to anyone in the market to level there truck.

These are well built, easy to install and IMO make the truck look a hundred times better than a 2 kit and 100,000 times better than a 2.5 kit. The truck looks level to the eye and never has that silly nose up stance that people almost always get when they over do it with front level kits. I'm using these to run 275/65R20 tires on stock wheels.

Watched the Rough Country leveling kit instal video on YouTube. Between that and the included instructions, no sweat. Took it to an auto hobby shop with all available tools on hand, so that helped. Otherwise, a straight forward install, remove a handful of bolts in a particular order, remove strut, install spacer on strut, reinstall strut, replace bolts, and repeat for the other side. Spent 89 on the Kit, 30 for the auto shop lift rental, and another 89 for an alignment. It was off slightly, but there ya go. Would recommend. Extremely leisurely pace, took me three hours including setup and clean up. *Also, had about 2.5 of difference between front and back before install. After the kit, it brought it down to just less than an inch of rake. Very happy with that; the inch is not very noticeable, but allows for a heavy load in the bed without going nose up. No driveability/handing issues noticed. Feels stock.

Arrived super quick. I specifically liked the 1 1/2 height as I was only trying to eliminate the droop of the front end. Worked perfect. No issues, fit great.

The shipping was very fast, and the leveling kit looks great. Still has a slight rake in the front which is what I wanted so when I tow my boat its pretty much leveled. Highly recommend the 1.5 over the others.

Customer Question I bought the AS150 kit for my 2011 F150 FX4. I can not get the strut assembly back into place with the spacer on it. The lower control arm will not move down far enough to allow the bottom of the strut assembly to move into place with the added length of the spacer installed. Sway bar is detached, lines are free, tie rod end is removed... Everyone has said that this kit is so easy to install, yet I can not get this thing back together with the spacer on it. I have been installing lift kits for 25 years....what am I missing?

Asked by: Ben - 6/7/2016
Customer Answer It's hard to say without seeing your install process. That being said, the LCA should move far enough down for you to angle the strut and the spacer into the upper mount. You could try loosely bolting the strut assembly into the LCA, and then swing the strut assembly into place. If that doesn't work, you may need remove the CV axle from the knuckle (though be very careful with your IWE actuators, if your truck is 4WD) so that you can completely swing the LCA down. If that doesn't help, give us a call directly at 1-877-578-2433 for further troubleshooting.

Customer Question What size tire can I fit on my 2013 f150 with this level kit?

Asked by: Nick - 5/24/2016
Customer Answer That's going to depend entirely on the wheels you have on your truck, especially in regards to their offset and backspacing. Please call us directly at 1-877-578-2433 so we can get more specific with what you have.

Customer Question Your picture shows the holes for the strut being offset of the bolts for the spacer but Autospring said their the holes are not offset for their 1.5" spacer? Is this true and you used the wrong pictures for the 1.5" spacer orate the holes offset?

Asked by: Josh - 2/19/2016
Customer Answer The 1.5" spacers don't have an offset design. Our pictures are of the 1.5" spacer kit, the top-down photos just aren't taken from a perfect 90° angle, so the holes look slightly off.

Customer Question I have a 2012 supercrew fx4 and measured 1.5 inches in rake from back to front. Many have said this spacer ends up being about 2 inches in total lift which would be too high for level. Is this because of the so called break in period? Does that only happen on new trucks? Also, I have read about having to shave the stock bolts, is that the case with this spacer?

Asked by: Shc410 - 12/24/2015
Customer Answer The spacer is not 1.5" tall. It's rated for 1.5" of lift. The spacer itself is slightly shorter than that. In general, to get a dead-level stance, you need a 2.5" leveling kit. Measuring front-rear rake isn't overly helpful, due to the fact that depending on where and how you measure, you can see different results.

Customer Question pros/cons or recommendation between poly vs powder coating on these? thx!

Asked by: bob - 12/16/2015
Customer Answer Technically, the powder coating option will be more corrosion-resistant and durable than the polyurethane, but does cost more. Frankly, the vast majority of folks will be fine with the poly-coated spacers, since the spacers will be shoved into the strut mount and not really exposed to the elements. However, folks in places with heavy winter salt use may want to grab the powder coat version as a precautionary measure.

Customer Question What is the actual thickness of the 1.5" spacer?

Asked by: Levi - 12/4/2015
Customer Answer The actual height of the spacer is around 1.25", which provides 1.5" of leveling once installed due to the suspension geometry of your truck.

Customer Question I have a 2013 4x4 xlt and wanted to get it level, do i need the 1.5 or 2 inch kit?

Asked by: Michael Parrish - 9/14/2015
Customer Answer It really just depends on what you're trying to do with the truck. If you want it absolutely, 100% dead-level stance even after the initial break-in, then you should probably do a 2.5" leveling kit. 2" is pretty standard and will result in just a hint of rake. 1.5" leveling kits tend to leave a little rake for folks that tend to tow on the regular, but want to squeeze on larger tires.

Customer Question Will this work in conjunction with an Icon Stage 4 coilover 0-3" leveling lift. I have a 2013 FX4 and would like to run 37's on it. The stock front bumper is being replaced with an ADD venom bumper. Considering the Fiberwerx F150 front fenders which spec out tire fitment at a 4" lift for 37" tires. I'd rather use more shock and less spacer to get there. Is this an option? Will I run into other problems trying to get a 4" lift this way?

Asked by: Dave B - 9/4/2015
Customer Answer You won't be able to get 4" of lift in that manner and we strongly don't recommend it. Using a lifted coilover and a spacer to get 4" of lift will seriously throw off your UCA, LCA, and CV angles and give you practically no travel, excess wear on all those components, and terrible ride quality. Your better bet would be to just get a 4" suspension lift kit and build around that.

Customer Question I already have a Rancho Quick lift on my RWD f150 but it did not give me as much of a hight boost as I expected. I was thinking about getting a spacer like this one and some rear blocks to add an all around 1.5" lift. Would putting these on my leveled rancho shocks put any strange strain on the truck? And these are advertised as 1.5" level but I've heard of 1" levels giving 1.5" after installation. Do you know if these will add 1.5" of hight or if they are 1.5" in size?

Asked by: Nick - 8/27/2015
Customer Answer This kit adds 1.5" of height. The spacers are actually slightly shorter than that, as front lift and leveling is based on a ratio that works off the rest of your suspension components. Depending on far your QuickLifts are sagging, you may not have an issue with your suspension components, namely your UCAs and LCAs. If the Ranchos are sagging roughly 1/2", then adding the Auto Spring Kit will only bring you up to 3" of front leveling, which is about as high as you really want to go. Still, it's extremely important that you figure out how much the Ranchos are sagging before you order. If they're currently giving you more than 1.5" of front leveling, then I would no add the Auto Spring kit on top of it.

Customer Question I have a 2014 STX 4x4 (old body style) and wondering if parts are considered the same for 04-13 models or 14-15? I am under the impression 14-15 applies only to new body style F150 but want clarification. Thank you

Asked by: Jaime - 8/15/2015
Customer Answer That's incorrect. You'll need the 2014-2015 F150 1.5" Kit for your truck, regardless of the body style. Ford made changes to the front suspension for the entire 2014 model year, that necessitated Auto Spring to alter their spacer design.

Customer Question I just had 2.5 "front leveling strut extentions put on my 2013 f150 supercrew 4x4 ecoboost and the front sits 3/4 higherthan the back. I am about to order these 1.5 inch spacers even if the front is slightly lower after I put them on. What do u think? 1.5 or 2 inch?

Asked by: john schmidt - 4/16/2015
Customer Answer Honestly, you should probably hold off on buying a different kit. With the spacer kits, the suspension tends to "settle in" a bit after some drive time which will reduce overall ride height. You may find that after a couple of hundred to a thousand or so miles, that you'll no longer have any rake. That being said, if you want to get get back a slight amount of front rake, then a 2" leveling kit is probably your better bet.

Customer Question I was wondering if truck would need alignment after installing spacers or any thing else?

Asked by: becky - 2/22/2015
Customer Answer An alignment is always recommended after a spacer installation to correct toe angle and preserve the lifespan of your tires.
