The BDS Track Bar Bracket bolts in place of the factory unit and corrects the track bar angle to keep it in phase with the steering linkage for optimal handling, control and response. Installed this bracket on a '17 F250 to recenter front axle. It did everything we expected and more. The customer was complaining about some bump steering after leveling, and this helped a lot with the bump steering problem.

2017 F-350

I had installed a Rough Country, 2 leveling space in my truck. Later, I had noticed my front axel was not centered under the truck. It was 3/4from the driver side fender, and 1 1/4 from passenger side. After some research, I purchased the BDS Track Bar Relocation Bracket. It was very well built and good finish. I installed it myself in about an hour. The bolts were a little difficult to get to, but could be done with a ratchet and a creeper. It recentered my axel but my steering wheel was off by a1/4 turn. I took it for a front end alignment and it is perfect.

Install was fairly easy on my 2017 F250 6.2L, I have a 1.5 inch spacer leveling kit and this centered the axle well.

2017 F250

I installed a 2 inch Rough Country leveling kit and 37x12.50 Toyo MT's on my truck. It looked great but the axle was off center. It was about 5/8 off to the driver's side and an alignment was not possible. Took me about an hour and a half to install and got my axel perfectly centered under the truck. Went and got an alignment and now I couldn't be happier. Definitely a great product and much less expensive than a new adjustable track bar.

2017 F250 Supercrew FX4

This bracket was exactly what I needed. I purchased a 1.5 leveling kit, and had a local shop install. I didn't realize, at the time, that I needed this bracket. The off center front axle was very obvious to me, and my ride/handling suffered. This bracket is stout! Seems better built than the factory Ford one. It was an easy install that I was able to do myself in my driveway in about 30 minutes. You will need to adjust the steering wheel alignment after, however. Great product, perfect fit, does what it is designed to do. My truck rides like factory again, and my axle is centered.

2017 F250 w/ 2.5 spacers

Really easy to install once you get the track bar off the original bracket, it took some coaxing on my truck, but once it was out, some grease helped it slide into the new bracket easily. It brought the axle back to center and now I'm not dog-walking down the road. I would say it would take about an hour all together, I replaced a tie rod when I installed mine so I'm not sure how long it would take to do just the bracket install.

Easy install. Product & welds looked heavy duty. Centered axle well (can adjust either way) & does not look like it will get loose over time.

2019 F250

I installed a 2" Bilstein leveling kit, and this BDS bracket. It is very well made, the welds look solid, and the steel is thick. It is much heavier duty than the stock bracket. Installation took about an hour in my driveway. Good luck getting the track bar bolt/nut torqued to 405 ft lbs though. The alignment shop I took the truck to after install torqued it down after I used my impact gun to get as much as I could on it.

Centered axle after leveling kit was installed. Heavy duty part with huge clean welds. Easy install but you'll need a torque wrench with 406 ft/lb capability.

2017 Ford F250

Installed 2.5inch leveling springs from Tuftruck. Once installed noticed a very bad rebound hitting bumps at highway speeds. Especially on curves. Then saw the front axle relocated visibly more on the drivers side. Looked found the BDS relocation bracket, installed and fixed. Wish I had been advised by the other company it was needed.

I have a 2022 F-250 and would like to level the truck. The truck also has a Westin HDX Winch mount grille guard with a 12,000 lb capacity winch (about 220lbs). I have always been a fan of Bilstein products. Would you recommend the Bilstein B8 5112 2" Leveling Kit 46-276810? And if so, a track bar or track bar bracket? Last, should I order a separate sway bar drop bracket (ie. Kryptonite) I ordered a Bilstein coilover system for my previous truck from you years ago and it was a very impressive setup. Just looking for some advice before purchasing. Thank you in advance.

In regards to this listing, we would definitely recommend a track bar bracket at minimum on any level 2" or higher to help keep the front axle in alignment with the rear and help prevent front end shake. I am experiencing a bump-steer after leveling my 2019 F250 with a 1.5" kit. It has a little of the wobble of the previous generation, which it did not have prior to bump, and new 35 x 12.5's. will this relocation kit help at all with this or, is it just meant to center the axle?

The track bar bracket will likely not help all that much. Track bar brackets are mostly meant for recentering the axle, though there are some alignment and steering benefits for a bracket. Your better bet would be a steering a stabilizer. Something like the Fox 2.0 TS would probably suffice if you're going to stick with 35x12.50" tires. You may want to jump into a dual kit if you're planning on going bigger at some point.

Is it possible for the axel to still be off center even after installing this bracket?

Technically, yes, since this bracket is a fixed drop and depending on how high your front level/lift is and how far your axle is off-center. If you want to get your axle 100% dead-center, your best bet would probably be an adjustable track bar.

Just installed a 2” super lift leveling kit on a 18 super duty f250. My axle is shifted to the drivers side some. Would the bds or ready lift bracket work or would it be best to get a adjustable track bar. Will the adjustable one fit on the oem bracket or does it require the aftermarket bracket?

It really depends on what your future plans are for the truck. If you're going to stick with a 2" level for the rest of your ownership, then a track bar drop bracket is probably your better bet. If you know you're going to be changing your Super Duty's lift height (or if you're a real stickler about your axle position), then an adjustable track bar is probably your better bet.

I just ordered this product and did not receive any bolts or washers with the kit. Also no instructions for installation. Am i missing this stuff or does it not come with it?

BDS's Instructions for this bracket are right here. The bracket reuses the bolts for the factory track bar bracket, but should come with new track bar cams. If you're missing any needed hardware, please give us a call directly at 623-434-5277.

Will you need to realign the truck with this?

You wouldn't strictly require another alignment after the installation of this kit, but there is a chance that your truck could pull in a certain direction if you've already gotten an alignment after your level. We strongly suggest that you wait to have your truck aligned until after you've installed this kit.
