These are really high quality adapters that were easy to install. It only took about 20 minutes to install. I had some minor rubbing on the UCA with 35x12.50 mud tires on stock FX4 20 wheels. These eliminated all rubbing and gave the truck a wider stance with tires sitting about 1/2 outside wheel well. Love the new look! (4 lift, 35x12.50s. stock wheels)

Customer Question How much of the studs poke out of the adapter?

Asked by: RA - 1/30/2024
Customer Answer You typically need 1.5" spacer to fully cover the stud, so you would see roughly 1/4" of stud sticking out if you used these spacers. Factory wheels have relief cuts in them which let you use these spacers without trimming the studs. If you are using aftermarket wheels, you would need to cut the studs as aftermarket wheels do not have the relief cuts like factory wheels do.

Customer Question Do you know if these will work on stock 2014 FX4 20in rims without trimming the studs down?

Asked by: Jason Pearlman - 1/23/2021
Customer Answer We can't strictly guarantee it, since we haven't tried it ourselves. If your stock wheels have fairly deep recesses on the hub mounting surfaces, you should be fine. If you're not sure or want to be safe, go with the 1.50" spacers.

Customer Question Does this size spacer require factory stud trimming? I prefer only a 1" spacer but it looks like I would have to trim the studs for those, which I will not do. Thanks.

Asked by: Dave - 10/14/2018
Customer Answer We can't guarantee that you won't have to trim your studs with these 1.25" spacers. We can only guarantee that 1.50" spacers and above won't require stud trimming. Whether you'll need to trim your studs or not will depend on the depth of the recesses on the back of your wheels of choice, and some wheels may not require trimming the studs for 1.25" spacers, while others will.
