2021 Bronco
The steps themselves are great. Love the look and usefullness of these steps. Install was a major PIA. Brackets install in minutes, but the boards themselves were the problem. Trying to hold the interior angles up while also supporting the boards was extremely difficult. That part of it took well over an hour per side.

Great looking steps. Works great for my family and the Bronco. The install is the only reason why its not a 5-star. It fit together okey, a bit of difficult lifting and positioning was required. My biggest complaint is the use of a 5/16" hex wrench for the main attachment. It took me and a couple of neighbors going through every hex wrench set we had to find 1. After that it was a pain to use a hex wrench underneath a car. Not sure why any normal bolt couldn't be used with normal socket set attachment. Would have made installation SOOO much easier.

All I can say is get help with install. i did this myself with jackstands and a hydraulic jack but lining up the angle iron in a round hole was ridiculous. I recommend using one bolt without washer and lock washer to give you more length on the bolt for initial assembly then go back and add washer with lock washer. It would help if they gave you a lineup threaded stud in the box. They need to add a guide welded in the tube to facilitate the line-up with the angle iron bracket then this would be much easier. If you have large fingers don't even attempt this because you won't be able to get your finger in the slot to hold the bracket. Happy with the look, and drop height was perfect for me and the wife.
