The kit also includes a pair of Diode's heavy-duty mounting brackets that place each light just forward and outboard of your F150's A-pillars which allows the lights to project their immense output to the front and sides of your truck so that you can see problems or wildlife on the side of the road before it causes huge problems. The brackets install without any cutting, drilling, or permanent modifications to your truck. The lights come with a heavy-duty wiring harness that allows you to get the SS3 lights up and running right out of the box.

The lights features Diode Dynamics' Driving optics that produce a beam pattern with both excellent range and good breadth so that you get a beam pattern that's extremely effective for whatever application you have mind. The optics and boards are mounted in a durable cast aluminum housing that features built-in pin-fin heat sinks that keep the lights cool even during constant running in high temperature climates. The SS3s feature a durable polycarbonate lens with a clear color that causes the lights to generate their white, 6000K color temperature. The two brackets are made out of incredibly thick steel with a one-piece design and black powder coat finish that protects them from corrosion. Each kit comes with instructions and hardware.
