The 2017-2022 SuperDuty SS3 Pro Type F2 Kit Features Custom-Engineered TIR Optics

Experience the highest output intensity available on the market with the 2017-2022 SuperDuty SS3 Pro Type F2 Kit. These fog lights are designed for maximum functionality, featuring custom-engineered TIR optics that emit highly useful beam patterns, while ensuring durability. With the included custom bracket and bezel, the SS3 Fog Kit seamlessly blends in with the existing look of your truck, providing a clean, factory-style appearance that is significantly brighter. Installing this kit is a breeze, thanks to the custom-molded brackets that allow for a quick and easy installation process. Simply remove your factory fog light assembly, and this kit will seamlessly bolt right in its place. No additional wiring is required as wire adapters are included to connect the lights to your factory bulb sockets. Unlike traditional optics such as reflectors or simple lenses that lose light internally and to glare, the custom-engineered TIR optic in the SS3 collects all of the light emitted by the LED and directs it precisely where you need it. This innovative feature drastically reduces glare and improves overall efficiency. Additionally, the custom-molded TIR optic serves as both the optic and main lens, resulting in greater efficiency and light output compared to other LED pods that use basic optics or reflectors with a standard outer lens. The SAE Fog pattern, featuring the distinctive FineLine optic design, provides an incredibly wide field of view and high-intensity output over an 80-degree spread.

Meets All the Same SAE Standards as Factory Lighting

The Fog beam pattern of the LEDs in the 2017-2022 SuperDuty SS3 Pro Type F2 Kit meet the same SAE J583 standard as a factory fog lamp, making them legal for on-road use. Please ensure to check your local laws and regulations regarding aiming, installation, and applicability. The SS3 LED Pod features a distinctive amber backlight, adding an extra accent light to complement the main beam. The backlight fully illuminates the TIR optic, giving your truck a unique and modern look compared to products with small indicator LEDs. To power the backlight, simply use the included harness to tap into this function. The white color temperature of 6000K creates a true cool white output that matches the factory LED lighting. The Pro model LEDs offer double the output of the Sport Model version. Rest assured, all Stage Series LED lighting has undergone rigorous testing, including long-term operation tests ranging from -40 to 185 degrees F, as well as vibration, moisture intrusion, and corrosion testing. These tests adhere to SAE standards, ensuring the same level of quality as factory components. Countless racers and enthusiasts have put Diode Dynamic's products to the test on the road, further solidifying their reputation as one of the most trusted names in automotive LED lighting. At Diode Dynamics, they take pride in directly assembling and engineering their products in the USA. This allows them to offer the highest quality and performance, incorporating the latest and brightest LED technology available.
