Stock front coilovers just don't perform like they should on your 2019-2023 Ford Ranger. The long list of shortcomings include a ton of body roll on the pavement and too much of a bouncy ride off-road. Eibach's complete Ranger 2.0 coilovers come fully assembled with a new spring, perches, mounts, and hardware which helps add an immediate impact to your truck. For further off-road excellence, you can level your truck and squeeze on larger wheel or tire combinations with the coilover's adjustable 0" to 3.75" of ride height. Performance-oriented valving and a new Eibach ERS coilover spring also tighten up front handling and absorb off-road impacts. 2" Diameter Shock Bodies with Application-Specific Valving and 550lb-in Spring

With the addition of these affordable coilovers, your Ranger will receive a big bump in handling while maintaining excellent ride quality. The Eibach 2.0s are built around 2" diameter steel shock bodies with a zinc plated finish to protect them against corrosion in practically any climate or application. Each coilover has finely-tuned, application-specific valving that maximizes performance and ride quality. A 550lb-in Eibach ERS coilover spring sits on an adjustable lower perch that allows you to change the coilover's ride height from a 0" factory height to 3.75" of leveling using the included adjuster tool. A 45mm piston and a Nitro Steel shaft go nicely with the coilover's gas-charged monotube design. Each coilover uses CNC machined billet aluminum upper and lower mounts with a great looking black anodized finish. These features provide excellent levels of strength and durability over time. The coilovers drop right into place of the stock coilover assemblies without modifications and you're all ready to go! The kit comes backed by an Eibach limited lifetime warranty.

19 Ford Ranger 2WD

I love the truck, 19 Ranger 2WD XLT crewcab, but hated the ride. It rides like an 1800’s buckboard wagon. So I thought I would try some new suspension parts. My first purchase was the Eibach 2.0 Front Coilovers. I had them installed (too cold to lie on the garage floor and couldn’t wait till warmer weather) for $340. They coilovers raised the truck in the front to half of inch lower than the back. The truck looked much better. The ride was WOW. The bouncy and walling was almost gone. Hitting bridge expansion joints did cause the old truck to bounce all over the road, but is mostly gone with the new coilovers. That harsh hit over bumps is also much less than stock, and the truck also handles better going around corners. I really recommend them for anyone that wants to get rid of the bounce and harshness of the front end.

2019 Ford Ranger

The Eibach front coil overs, are really nice, I'm glad I installed then. The ride on my Ranger is so much better, it actually feels like a new truck. It brakes better as the nose dive is gone! Cornering ,road hold, and ride is so much better. You're just ability is really nice as I have a two-wheel drive, so I did crank them down about three turns, to level out the truck. I had coil spacers on to level the truck before this and the ride was just horrid. I'm glad I bought these. I also installed the Eibach shocks on the back about 5 months ago, that alone helped quite a bit with the poor ride on the Ranger. I was really considering selling the ranger because of the ride and the suspension, this was my last hope. I'm going to actually feels like you're driving a F-150 now it's planted and the great ride.

2019 Ranger XLT, 2wd

Best money spent on this truck. Prior to the upgrade the suspension was so bad I went over a speed bump in a parking lot at an angle and my daughter hit her head on the window…and started crying. I knew the Ranger had issues at purchase and assumed the aftermarket would fix it. Eibach did. Installed the shocks and coilovers in my driveway using U-Tube and Eibach’s torque specs. Wasn’t very difficult. Stage 3 sold them on sale, very good price!

Got these on a Black Friday sale. Finally installed and what a difference. The floaty, boat feeling is gone. Nose dive in braking is gone. Ride is greatly improved over the factory FX4 suspension. Stage 3 had a great price and super fast shipping as always.

2021 ford ranger

These eibach 2.0 coilover shocks really help improve the ride and handling of the ranger. Off pavement you feel a big improvement soaking up bumps and wash boards on forest mountain roads and desert dirt roads. I got two inches of lift over stock a little less then most claim to have got. The install was very straight forward with the help of the stage 3 YouTube video. I am happy with the product.

What is the pre-set height for 4WD Rangers? The Fox 2.0 shows 2" pre-set.

According to Eibach, these coilovers should be set at around 2" of ride height out of the box. Eibach did say that ride height adjustments are fairly easy to do on-truck.

I ordered these last week and just installed them tonight. My front is now exactly 3/4" lower than my rear. Prior to these, I had a 2.5" RC Leveling kit installed on top of the factory FX4 coilovers, which had my front 1/4" lower than my rear, so these are right at about 2" of lift on the 4wd Ranger.

How is this different than getting the Eibach Pro leveled struts paired with the springs?

The Eibach Coilovers are a true 2" diameter, while the Eibach Pro-Truck struts are not quite there. These coilovers are also threaded which allows for a much broader range of ride height adjustment than the Eibach struts. These coilovers also use pre-installed billet mounts which are stronger than the welded lower mount and the stock upper mount that needs to be reused for the Eibach struts.

Is there a different pre-set height for 2wd and 4wd or they come with the same set up?

According to Eibach, these coilovers are set at 3" of ride height on the 4WD drive trucks. While the coilovers aren't set at a different thread setting for the RWD trucks, the RWD trucks do tend to get a smidge more ride height since they have a lighter curb weight up front.

I am interested in the Eibach 2.0 coilovers for my 2020 Ranger 2WD. Most internet resellers show this product will work on my truck. Eibach shows that it is only available for the 4WD model. I want to be sure these will work properly for my application. What is the truth? Thx.

These coilovers will bolt up to an RWD/2WD without issues. However, the RWD trucks do get more ride height out of these coilovers than the 4WD trucks, due to their lighter curb weights. This could be a good or a bad thing, depending on what you're doing. We do not recommend cranking these coilovers up to their maximum ride height on an RWD/2WD truck.

After any leveling kit, and an alignment is strongly recommended mostly to correct toe angle and prevent wonky tire wear.

How would these ride with the eibach rear shocks? Since the coilovers are 2.0 and the shocks are 1.5? Also if i set the the coilovers to max ride height and had a eibach 1" block, would it still be leveled or would the front be higher than the rear?

We haven't tried the Eibach 2.0 coilovers as of yet, but they should pair well with the Eibach rear shocks. The Eibach rear shocks can handle 1.5" of ride height, but they're about 1.8" in diameter, so the difference isn't massive. In general, it takes about 2.5-ish inches of front ride height to get a Ranger close to dead-level, so adding a 1" rear block with the Eibachs at a 3.75" would likely leave you a smidge nose-high, if anything.

Exactly how are you supposed to adjust the ride height on these? I tried using the provided tool, but there must be a locking mechanism or something because the adjustment ring refused to budge and the tool just bent when I tried to make a small adjustment. I can't find adjustment instructions for these on Eibach's website or anywhere else.

Unfortunately, Eibach's included tool is not adequate for on-truck adjustment like they hoped. They are releasing a new tool in the future to address these issues. According to Eibach, their adjustment collar uses 6mm holes, so you may be able to use a 6mm punch or other adjustment spanner to change the coilover's ride height.
