Premium Truck Bed Cap Makes Your Tacoma Ready for Adventure
If you drive a 2005-2015 Tacoma, you know what makes these trucks special. They're built tough, incredibly reliable, and capable of tackling just about anything you throw at them. But even the most capable truck can use an upgrade from time to time, and that's where the RSI SmartCap EVOa Adventure comes in. Designed to add more durability, storage, and functionality to your Tacoma's 5-foot bed, this cap transforms your truck into a fully equipped adventure rig. But what sets the Adventure model apart from other SmartCap options? Unlike RSI's Sport series, which features glass Gullwing windows for a sleeker look, or their Commercial series, which is built purely for heavy-duty work, the EVOa Adventure is designed for those who push their trucks to the limit. Its rugged stainless steel construction offers more durability compared to traditional fiberglass caps, making it ideal for rough trails, harsh weather, and demanding conditions. What's more, the five-piece modular design ensures a precise fit while also allowing for quick installation or removal, so if you ever need full bed access, you can take the cap off in minutes.
Endless Storage and Customization Options
Storage and accessibility are where this system truly shines. The double-walled stainless steel Gullwing doors provide maximum security for your gear, while their integrated MOLLE panels give you a fully customizable storage solution. Mount recovery tools, first-aid kits, fuel canisters, or even a compact camp kitchen–everything stays organized and within reach. Unlike standard fiberglass caps with small side windows, the Gullwing doors on the EVOa Adventure open wide, making it effortless to load and unload gear. Plus, since they're taller than most traditional caps, you’ll have an easier time accessing everything without reaching awkwardly into the bed. Additionally, integrated roof rails allow you to mount rooftop tents, cargo racks, or extra gear, giving you the flexibility to customize your setup. Whether you’re heading out for a weekend camping trip, loading up for an extended overland journey, or simply need a reliable way to store tools and equipment, this cap is built to handle it all. Pair it with SmartCap’s accessories–like slide-out drawers, storage bins, or a full kitchen system–and you’ve got a truck bed that’s as versatile as your lifestyle.
High-Quality Weather Protection
Weather protection is another major advantage of the EVO Adventure SmartCap. Whether you're driving through rain, snow, or a dust storm, this cap is designed to keep your cargo clean and dry. The SmartCap's innovative sealing system blocks out moisture, while the positive pressure air vent keeps fine dust from settling inside the bed. This is a game-changer if you spend time on dirt roads or off-grid trails–no more dealing with gear covered in a layer of dust after a long drive. For Tacoma owners who want more than just a standard bed cover, the SmartCap EVOa Adventure is the ultimate upgrade.
