2019 Ranger FX4
I bought this kit primarily to improve the looks of my truck, not for offroading purposes. If I wanted to get into "above beginner" offroading trails, I would have gone with a coilover kit. This kit improved the look of my Ranger more than I thought it would. It didn't *completely* level my Ranger, but that isn't what I was going for. There's still a little rake, and I'm okay with that.

Customer Question Is it possible to only use the upper spacer without the preload spacer? If so, how much lift would it provide alone?

Asked by: Michael - 11/28/2023
Customer Answer You can just use the upper spacer by itself, but it would not achieve the full 2". We have not tried this ourselves so could not guarantee what lift height you would achieve, but would guess you may be around 3/4-1" above stock.

Customer Question Does this product void the Ford factory warranty. Which direction does the preload spacer face?

Asked by: Pike - 3/7/2021
Customer Answer This pat number won't entirely void your truck's powertrain or bumper-to-bumper warranties. That being said, if your Ford Service Center deems that this part caused a particular issue, then could refuse to do those specific repairs under the terms of your warranty, but the warranty would still exist if say your climate control went on the fritz. The preload spacer goes on the strut assembly with its narrower taper facing up.
