Sturdy and Versatile Cargo Platform

When going out on off-road camping excursions, you want to make sure you have everything needed for your trip. While the 2016-2020 Ford Explorer is large, there still is only so much room in the back of your SUV. That's why the top of your vehicle has so much untapped potential that our friends at Rhino Rack have made accessible to you. Rhino Rack's Pioneer Platforms are some of the most versatile and heavy-duty cargo trays that you can find for your vehicle. With their flat, slatted designs, the 60x54" Pioneer Platforms can handle oversized cargo just as easily as smaller cargo while giving you plenty of options for tying all your gear down. A load rating of 165 lbs ensures you can bring plenty along on your SUV's roof. The Pioneer Platform features a durable, yet lightweight construction which makes it able to survive just about any adventure you have in mind without weighing down your roof, bed, or rail system.

Durable, Lightweight Aluminum and Nylon Construction

The Pioneer Tray may be light, but its built tough and can resist corrosion in practically any climate or application. An aerodynamic design lessens wind drag and noise so your drive is comfortable when steering and listening to tunes. Each Pioneer Platform is made out of aluminum and reinforced nylon before being topped off with a UV-stable black finish to resist corrosion. 37 mm high RCL legs rigidly hold the platform in place to your roof bars. Five planks are also present in the kit. The Pioneer Platform includes everything needed, including bars, to mount the platform to your 2016-2020 Ford Explorer. This version of the Platform will ship pre-assembled for your convenience.
