If you're transforming your Expedition into a powerful off-road adventure vehicle, you'll need some serious suspension modifications, and the ICON Stage 2 Suspension System for the 4WD 2014-2020 Expeditions can instantly transform your Expedition into a trail-conquering machine. The ICON Stage 2 Suspension Package comes with a full set of 2.5 coilovers for both the front and rear of your Expedition, each of which are come standard with remote-mounted reservoirs fitted with ICON's CDCV compression adjusters that allow you to dial in your Expedition's ride. The ICON 2.5 coilovers even add up to 2.25" of ride height to the front and rear of your Expedition, which gives you extra clearance to mount up larger wheel and tire combinations for improved ground clearance. The 2.5 Remote Reservoir Coilovers provide a huge improvement in off-road performance, allowing your Expedition to tackle some of the toughest terrain on the planet. The coilovers also provide better on-road handling by reducing your Expedition's body roll and limiting the wallow of the factory coilover assemblies. The front and rear 2.5 coilovers install in place of your stock coilover assemblies in practically no time. Along with the coilovers, ICON includes a set of their Tubular Delta Joint Upper Control Arms that provide more strength than the stock UCAs along with some extra travel.

Large-Diameter Shock Bodies with High-Performance Coilover Spring and Remote Reservoirs

The ICON 2.5 Coilovers were designed from the ground up to provide your 2014-2019 Expedition a huge improvement in off-road performance over your Expedition's stock hardware. Each one of these coilovers features a 2.5" diameter shock body that allows for a huge increase in oil capacity over your stock struts. The shock bodies are made out of high-quality aluminum which helps make heat dissipation more effective over stock, even in extreme off-road applications. The coilovers are wrapped up in an ICON engineered Eibach coilover spring that has improved response and less bounce than the factory spring without overly effecting your street ride quality. The coilovers have upper and lower mounts and spring perches made out of CNC machined 6061 billet aluminum that come standard with a black anodized finish for a great look and corrosion resistance. The remote reservoirs mount onto your truck far away from the coilover itself and come with all the hose they need. Each reservoir greatly increases oil capacity and improves cooling even further over the aluminum shock body, making them perfect for aggressive applications. ICON's Compression Damping Control Valve (CDCV) system on each reservoir features a dial that controls the fluid flow going between the reservoir and shock body, allowing you to dial in the coilover's compression just to your liking. Each coilover is designed as a direct bolt-on replacement for stock and comes with installation instructions and hardware.

Pair of UCAs with Delta Joints, Tubular Steel Arms, and Polyurethane Bushings

The ICON Delta Joint is a quantum leap forward in upper control arm design, and will give your Expedition long-lasting and reliable suspension performance. The Delta Joint has a fully-sealed housing with a zinc-plated finish that allows it to withstand corrosion. The joint itself is protected by a grease seal, which prevents contaminants from entering the housing and causing damage to the internal components. The internal parts feature a greased, metal-on-metal design, and is re-greaseable thanks to a built-in fitting. The control arms themselves are made out of 1026 steel that's mandrel-bent for a perfect fit onto your Expedition. Each set of arms comes standard with polyurethane mounting bushings, and the mount housings feature zerk fittings for re-greasing. The control arms are topped off with a gloss black powder coat finish for corrosion resistance.

Wheel backspacing requirements: these coilovers will require a wheel with 5" of backspace in order to clear a 12.50" wide tire. Stock wheel and tires can be used with this kit.

Not compatible with air suspension or electronic adjustable suspension: these coilovers are not compatible on Expeditions equipped with OEM air suspension systems or electronic adjustable suspensions.
