High-Quality Design & Engineering

The rotors are cross-drilled and slotted for improved air flow, resulting in outstanding heat dissipation and reduced brake dust build-up. They are stock sizes, so they will work seamlessly with your 2005-2010 Mustang's stock calipers. Power Stop rotors give you the advantages of both drilled holes for cooling and slots to sweep away gas and dust. Power Stop rotors are made using only the finest blanks available and feature G3000 grade castings that are silver zinc plated to resist rust. High-Performance Calipers

The calipers included in this kit are Ford OEM calipers that have been powder-coated red for aggressive styling. These calipers come with high temp silicone seals and boots and are pre-loaded with pads. The pads included in this kit are part of PowerStop's Z16 series of ceramic brake pads. Each pad is designed to provide superior bite over stock while producing less heat, noise, and wear on both the pad and rotor. These high-performance brake pads have up to 20% more bite than stock and are built to provide uniform pad wear over their entire surface. Each pad is thermal scorched to provide a quick break-in and bedding surface.

Power Stop Extreme Bedding Note: The break in procedure is critical to brake performance. The reason for a proper break in is to establish an even layer of friction material deposited on the rotors from the brake pads. It is very important that this initial layer of friction material is evenly distributed. Break in the pads as follows: 5 moderate to aggressive stops from 40 mph down to 10 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool and do not come to a complete stop. Then do 5 moderate stops from 35 mph to 5 mph in rapid succession without letting the brakes cool. You should expect to smell some resin as the brakes get hot. After this is complete, drive around for as long as possible without excessively heating the brakes and without coming to a complete stop (Try for about 5 minutes at moderate speed). This is the cooling stage. It allows the heated resin in the brake pads to cool and cure. After the brakes have cooled to standard operating temperature, you may use the brakes normally.
