Drawing 5 watts of power from its high capacity lithium-ion battery, this radio with an illuminated screen offers many key features you need in a functional radio. To conserve battery, the radio can be switched between a high power and low power mode. It uses VOX, voice activated transmission, to communicate with others on your same frequency. If you are ever in trouble, you can use the emergency alarm function to warn others of your peril. If the problem is just darkness out on the trail, use the built-in LED flashlight to light your way! If your trail needs to become more lively, use the built-in FM radio to play your favorite radio stations. With the addition of six radios in your kit, your whole group will be linked and prepared in a fun/safe way!

With so many radios on hand, you want to have the ability to keep them all charged and ready to go. Rugged Radios addresses this issue with their Bank Kit and offers six banks to charge all your radios at once! To make your life easier, individual indicator lights illuminate red light when the radio is still charging, and a green light when it is finished.
