MBRP's 3" cat-back exhaust kit features larger tubing than stock as well as an aggressive muffler design that gives your F150 an amazing, throaty exhaust not along with an excellent boost in horsepower, torque, fuel economy, and throttle response, making it one of the best F150 performance parts that you can find for your truck. You get all of this extra performance and sound in a low-cost exhaust package that bolts on right in place of your truck's factory exhaust system to get you huge gains in a hassle-free package.

Larger Tubing and Aggressive Muffler for Improved Performance

This version of MBRP's Single-Exit cat-back kit is part of their Installer Series of exhaust systems that are each manufactured out of aluminized steel to keep costs low while still providing excellent levels of sound and performance. The system is made from 3" diameter, mandrel-bent tubing that allows for a much smoother exit for your truck's exhaust gasses to reduce back pressure and restrictions for excellent power and fuel mileage gains over stock. The kit has a single-side exit design in the factory location and ends in large, polished 304 stainless steel tip. MBRP's kit includes installation hardware and instructions.

This cat-back exhaust kit deletes your factory resonator and replaces it with a smaller MBRP resonator for a more aggressive tone.

F150 Wheelbase Fitment: this kit will only fit F150s with 145" and 157" wheelbases as a direct bolt-on. Extensive modifications may be required for all other wheelbases. Call 623-434-5277 for more information.

This is a much better quality than expected system. Installed with ease looks like a factory system does have a great deal of interior drone but overall sounds great and I am very pleased thanks stage 3.

2012 F-150 5.0L

if you like drone, buy this exhaust, it is loud inside at anything over 1500 RPM. The exhaust is ok nothing special about quality. I however dislike the exhaust mount bracket that attaches right before the muffler whereas it should be built into the muffler.

5.0 f150

Great exhaust, quieted down the coyote from the Flowmaster I had before. Easy install took about an hour. As other have said use saw to make removal of old exhaust much quicker! Thanks again stage 3! Also I ordered it Thursday and it showed up in my door step by Saturday..... can’t beat that!

'11 Ford F150 5.0

Arrived when they said it would, email follow ups were helpful. Packaged very well and was very clean. Installing the exhaust went as everything does with a vehicle, just fine with those unavoidable hiccups (removing the stock exhaust, meant dropping spare and moving heat shield) but the install itself went smooth. The pieces they send it in make it easy to have spare and heat shield in place. I did have to make one modification as the extension for the 157 wheelbase was a bit long (rather that than short of course!) but with a sawzall and a cut the hangers all matched up perfectly and the ease thru the website to ensure the purchase of the right product was fantastic. Very happy with the new sound and performance!! I have since ordered 2 more items from here, and had the same results.

What is the difference between this kit and the xp-series?

This kit is made out of aluminized steel, while the XP-series kit is made out of higher-quality 409 stainless steel.

I notice that this system comes with a new resonator in it. Just wondering how much louder you think it would be without the resonator if one decided to put a price of pipe in its place ? Thank you

Overall sound volume would increase some amount, though you may also pick up a bit of drone. If you are intent on a version without a resonator, you could save yourself some money and hassles by getting MBRP's 3" Installer Series for the 2011-2014 F150 EcoBoosts, instead. While only billed to fit the EcoBoosts, this kit will also fit the 2011-2014 F150 5.0Ls and includes the same muffler, but just no resonator.

There's very little to practically no drone with this kit, thanks to MBRP's included resonator.

Nope. They're the same kit. The Performance Series just doesn't come with a tip.

i have a crew cab with the 6.5 foot bed. how will it fit if it says it fits the shorter truck? is the one for my truck all one piece or is it pieced together?
