Customer Question How aggressive is this? Would it upset the neighborhood?

Asked by: Chris - 4/23/2019
Customer Answer This particular kit is pretty aggressive. If you're concerned about overall noise, you may want to consider the Street Series version of this kit.

Customer Question Is the whole exhaust ceramic coated?

Asked by: Doc - 8/7/2018
Customer Answer Unfortunately, it is not. MBRP recently changed their Black Series Kits, and they're only coating the tailpipes and kits. The inlet pipe and muffler will not be coated. Needless to say, we aren't thrilled about the change either.

Customer Question Have F150 platinum 3.5l crew cab with Automatic fold in / out Steps . Would this pre-tire exhaust interfere with the steps ?

Asked by: Sk - 7/12/2018
Customer Answer As long as you have either OEM, AMP, Bestop, or similar power steps, you shouldn't have issue. The cat-back exits in the small sliver of bed just before the passenger's side rear tire, and most power step systems stop right at the cab line. That being said, if you don't the positioning of the cat-back kit quite right (or if you mis-trim on longer wheelbase models), you could have issues. However, most power steps aluminum step surfaces are extremely easy to trim.

Customer Question Will this or any pre-axle side exit exhaust kit fit with the factory side steps?

Asked by: R. B. - 9/24/2017
Customer Answer It's going to depend on which particular set of factory side steps, since Ford had a bunch of different options between 2011 and 2014. However, as long as the side steps in question only run from the front of the front doors to the rear of the back doors and don't impede on the section of the bed just after the rear wheel and before the cab, this kit should fit just fine without the need to modify your steps.
