A must have when you are wanting to store things in the bed of your truck. The Tacomas do come with storage in the bed but not very big or much so you cant put alot in there and lock it up. The Swing case i love cause i can throw alot in there and lock it up with no worry. Very secure locking so no moving or bouncing when i am out on the trails like before, i would recommend this to anyone looking for more storage.

So far I'm very happy with my purchase. It shipped quickly and was really easy to install. Anyone can do it. It has a good amount of storage. I like how it has a lock on top and a hinge lock. You have the ability to easily remove the swing case if you happen to need the room in your bed for something. They also have the option where you can further secure the hinge area with a pad lock. I just wish there was more room to be able to use a larger, more secure pad lock. Because of it's position, it took me about 3 different pad locks before I could get one to fit. You need one with a very short shank. Overall, so far I love it and it's been a good storage solution

Customer Question Is this weather proof? Does it fit a 2017 Tacoma.

Asked by: Jake G - 7/19/2021
Customer Answer The SwingCase is pretty weatherproof. The lid has a weather seal and overhangs the main body, which keeps rain and snow out, but if you were to drive through a flood and fully submerge the thing, it would let water in.
