The 2.3L EcoBoost under the hood of your 2016-2017 Focus RS is capable of producing huge levels of power, especially with modifications and custom tuning, but the factory wastegate actuators can let you down by opening before your turbocharger reaches peak boost pressure. Turbosmart's IWG-75 Wastegate Actuator helps solve that problem by using a stiffer internal spring and higher-quality construction than your Focus RS's stock wastegate actuator, which allows your 2016-2017 Focus RS to hit higher boost pressures and build boost pressure longer before the wastegate opens. The end result is a slight gain in peak power with improved turbo response and less top-end drop-off.

The actuator is made out of high-quality billet aluminum that can handle much higher boost pressures than stock while delivering excellent wastegate function and performance. The IWG-75 features a locking collar on its top cap that allows you to swap out its actuator spring for other Turbosmart springs of various pressures so that you fine-tune the function of actuator once you start getting extremely aggressive with modifications and tuning.
