Perfect Upgraded Gears for Performance Applications

When you need a more aggressive launch, more peppy acceleration, or need to compensate for larger wheel and tire combinations, jumping up to a set of 3.73 gears is almost never a bad idea. This fairly aggressive ring and pinion gear set from Yukon gives your truck a performance-oriented, multi-purpose drive ratio that can help your truck get improved acceleration and off-the line performance while also providing a more adequate drive ratio when you add big off-road tires to your 2015 to 2025 F150. The altered power band provided by these gears can also improve towing by giving your F150 a more usable and aggressive power band for some extra grunt through your truck's shifting. 3.73s are a good choice if you value outright performance over fuel economy.

High-Quality Gear Steel with Careful Machining

Each of these ring and pinion are built for maximum durability and reliability. Yukon builds each of these rear end gear sets out of forged triple-alloy 8620 steel. The gear teeth are cut by Yukon's highly skilled, expert machinists before going through a computer-controlled lapping process to give the gears an ultra-fine finish which helps ensure a quieter operation than the competition. Both the ring and pinion are direct bolt-on replacements for stock and work flawlessly with Yukon's Master Install Kit.

Only for Ford Super 8.8" rear ends: this Yukon ring and pinion gear will only fit Ford Super 8.8" rear ends built from 2015 to 2025, and will not fit F150s with 9.75" rear ends. Please verify your F150's require ring and pinion gear before ordering.

I have a 2016 F150 2wd 2.7L. Currently I have a 3.31 Locking rear super 8.8 diff. Looking to upgrade to 3.73 to off set going from Stock tires to 35". If I get this what other products do i need to purchase?

We would recommend a master install kit to be able to replace the wearing parts as well as shims to properly set the gears up. Beyond that, you will just need fluids and any additives you diff calls for. Give us a call if you need help putting an order together. 623.434.5277

so several threads have been advising me that if i upgrade to these on my 21 f150 that i will loose e lock capability. is that correct?

That is not correct. These gears are compatible with the factory eLocker.

When switching to a 3.73 or taller gear would you need to replace the front gear set as well to be the same? If so do you have a complete kit in either the 3.73 or 4.10?

Both front and rear end gears have to match if you have a 4WD truck. These trucks do not have a center diff, and even if they did, running two different gear sets would end up breaking a lot of stuff. A Complete Super 8.8" 4.11 Gear Package is here.
